The more I tried to remember anything, the more my head started to hurt. I ended up giving up on that after a little bit. I just accepted that I couldn't remember anything about my past or myself at this time.

I could at least remember that most of my life I was told I couldn't trust Inklings, but now I was having second thoughts about what I was told. Goggles and the old man had been very nice to me ever since I met them.

The old man's radio thing went off and I immediately covered my ears. One of the voices coming out of it was very loud, which scared me. The other voice wasn't as loud as the first, which made me calm down a bit.

The two introduced themselves as Pearl and Marina, or MC. Princess and DJ Hyperfresh. They offered to help us out in any way they could, seemingly wanting to help everyone get to the surface.

The old man stayed behind in the station while Goggles and I pressed on. He told me about something called "Turf War" and how he won a tournament with his team as we entered the next test area.

I had found a pad of paper and a pen when I went through a bag of things that the old man told me I had on me before I had passed out. There was more in the bag that the old man gave me, but the pen and paper were the two things I kept on me at all times. I would write what I wanted to say and show it to whoever I was trying to communicate with. I was still afraid to speak, so I used the pen and paper to talk to people.

"Can you teach me how to play Turf War when we get to the surface?" I wrote this down on one of the paper sheets in the notepad and showed it to Goggles. He smiled at me and nodded.

The sound of the train pulling into the station echoed around everywhere. I turned around an saw an Inkling girl in the same attire that the old man had given Goggles. She seemed to know Goggles pretty well from the way she spoke to him.

...

The girl's name was Headphones, and she was one of Goggles teammates. She said that she had been separated from the other two of their teammates when they were looking for Goggles. She helped me with the test that I needed to pass to get the second thang. She seemed really nice, but she wasn't as silly as Goggles. On the way back to the main station we ran into another one of Goggles' teammates named Bobble Hat. When we reached the main station, my vision faded out like it had when I obtained the first thang.

"HOW DARE YOU!" I watched as an Octarian I didn't recognize get beaten up by two Inkling boys. The original music was changed to something I recognized. It was that melody the old man had called "The Calamari Inkantation." I remembered being starstruck and wanting to leave the place I called home for good.

The battle ended with the Inklings being victorious. I decided that, despite wanting to leave, I needed to stay for my family.

"Are you ok 8?" Headphones put her hand on my shoulder, snapping me out of my vision. I nodded and joined the others before we got on the train to obtain the other two thangs.

I was kind of disturbed by part of my vision and what happened in it.

Because one of the Inklings that was in my vision was Goggles.

A/N: Author here! Sorry for not updating for like forever! >_< I've been super busy with school and other things that I almost completely forgot about this account.

As an apology and to make up for not updating, I'm gonna work on finishing this story. I should have this finished by the end of today or tommorrow, depending on how much homework I need to do before I go to sleep tonight.

As for my other stories, I won't be updating some of them anytime soon. I've been having trouble trying to figure out ideas for Super Jump It and some of my other stories. I could use some help with them. All ideas are welcome as long as you talk to me through Wattpad DMs or Discord DMs first.

Thanks for being patient. Author-chan loves you all! <3
