They had waited for years just for this day... the day they meet for the first time for real...
The hostess called on her mic informing all the passengers to fasten their seat belt because the plane was preparing to land. Fear, excitement, relief, and the feeling of "finally" consumed the young souls as they heard the intercoms go off and the jolt as the wheels touched the ground.
"I can wait a few more minutes," they reassured themselves as each of their planes landed finally to the same destination.
Their world played in slow motion as every passenger hurried off of their seats to meet their long awaited loved ones but only little did they know what waiting actually was. Every step caused palpitations of their hearts and the one thing in their mind was the warmth of each others body for real this time. Bodies pushing to get a hold of their baggage at the luggage counter. At the sight of his bag, he grabbed it by the hand and rushed towards the entry counter. On the other side as soon as she saw her trolley, she ran closer to get over with this one barrier keeping them apart. Those who looked around could tell that they were the happiness no one had ever seen of any person.
When that stamp pressed on to his passport, his mind filled with questions on what to say. She, on the other hand; was thinking about his presence, his touch and feared her long suppressed tears as she saw the stamp getting picked up off of her passport. They shined like the first blooms in spring and the stars on the darkest of nights.
His eyes scared of losing this one chance savagely searched the crowd and waited patiently. She walked up straight, tried her best not to look like she was in a hurry with those huge eyes and lustful smile.
There she came walking out with all her flaws that he had craved for the past long years, those scars like art, those curves that she hated, the nose that bowled up when she got angry and her tired eyes that she'd spent hours crying with no one by her side.
"That's the strongest and most gorgeous person I have ever met in my entire life after my mother. Thank you God," he chanted in his head as he glazed his longing eyes over his Ruby...
She could see him, in flesh, covered in his flaws. His hateful greenish grey eyes, his scars before they got to know each other and his warmth that he feared would hurt her.
"There he stands, waiting for me like I were walking down the aisle. My purpose to today, my Pandora's box which I could never fear and my one and only Emerald. Thank you God," she prayed as she took faster steps towards those long awaited arms and tears just rushed down their faces.
The story is better incomplete...
It is you who decides the ending not me :)
