Noya POV

The brunette glanced over at the squirming boy sitting nearby, who was avoiding his gaze.

After his epic chase after Yaku, Noya dragged the ginger-haired boy to the nearest McDonalds outside the Megamall and sat him down at the table while he ordered some sundaes, which is what he's doing now.

"I wonder why he ran away." Noya thought to himself. "There was literally no problem. Did I scare him or some shxt?" He was so lost in his thoughts that he almost bumped into the guy in front of him.

"Sorry." Noya mumbled inaudibly, definitely not loud enough for the customer in front of him to hear. The customer in front of him turned her head and glared at him.

"Be more careful, please."

Noya was suddenly brought back to the present.

"Kiyoko-san⁉️" He yelled, causing the people in the store to stare at him. "You were here this whole time⁉️"

"Yes, I was." Kiyoko-san said slowly. "Didn't you and Tanaka-san get my text?"

"Well, no." The brunette whisper-shouted."I wasted all my data." Noya got his phone out of his pocket and showed it to Kiyoko-san.

The black-haired beauty rolled her eyes and buried her head in her hands. "Noya-san,,,, you do know your internet was off?" She asked him pointing to the phone.

"EH⁉️" Noya shouted, again causing everyone in the store to stare. "Oh crud, I was too distracted..."

"Distracted doing what?" Kiyoko-san asked, crossing her arms.

"Well- I was chasing Morisuke-san down an escalator. I think that's distracting enough?"

The older female raised a brow. "Why were you chasing Morisuke-san?" She asked, finally noticing the very same person they were talking about sitting at a table a few meters away. "And why is here?"

"I actually don't know why I chased him-" Noya began. "He just started running so I ran too. Also I don't know why I brought him here? For an interrogation I suppose... "

Kiyoko-san sighed. "Well Noya-san, you've caused him quite a lot of trouble. You better apologies to him after this." she said sternly.

The brunette saluted her. "YES KIYOKO-SAN!" He yelled. "I won't let you down!!!"

================================

Yaku POV

When Noya-san came back with our sundaes, he was excitedly talking to an older girl, and almost dropped the sundaes three times while walking to the table.

Yaku recognized the pretty woman as Shimizu Kiyoko-san, the manager of Karasuno High's volleyball team. I'm not exactly sure if I got her name right, but I'm pretty sure she just came out of the closet for being a lesbian. Maybe she could help me with my... dilemma.

He took a deep breath as the two sat down, Noya-san hurriedly trying to sit down beside her. Kiyoko-san just evaded him and sat beside me, giving me my caramel sundae.

"Hello, Morisuke-san." Kiyoko-san greeted, smiling politely. "I'm really sorry for causing you any trouble."

Yaku felt his ears go hot. Kiyoko-san was known for being gorgeous, but up close it was a whole different experience. She was literally a goddess. "It's fine!" He said hurriedly. "He has the right to be curious, and we both overreacted."

"Speaking of overreacting," Kiyoko-san began. "Can you explain what happened? I can't really trust what Noya-san says."

Yaku paused, taking a scoop of his sundae. Should he really tell her what happened? She wouldn't react negatively... right?

"Well, I was in the female section of the mall." Yaku began. "Noya just happened to pass by, and I ran off because I really didn't want him to get the wrong idea that I'm a.. " He paused. "... a pervert. I was there because... um... Kuroo asked me to look for girl clothing so we could crossdress for Halloween! Then he just chased me, and now we're here...?"

Kiyoko-san raised a brow, looking a bit suspicious of me. "I mean, your story definitely seems much more convincing, but would Kuroo-san really ask you to do that?"

Yaku nodded slightly, looking away from Kiyoko-san's gaze and focusing on his sundae instead, ignoring her and Noya-san for the next hour.

He couldn't trust Kiyoko-san. She didn't seem like she would trust him. So he couldn't trust her either.
