"Have you listened to it?" Taeyang asks Clara as they sat in the studio alone along with Teddy, YG's great producer.
"Can you stop trying to make me listen to it, oppa?" Clara pleaded as she tried to focus on working on her first solo comeback beside Teddy.
"Hyung, tell her she should." Taeyang speaks.
"Yeah. What are you so afraid of Ara-ah?" Teddy asks and this made Clara slam her pencil on the table.
"Why do you want me to listen to it so badly anyways? Don't you know that even just hearing him hurts?" The female rapper bursts.
"Look, Ara. You were the whole inspiration on Jiyong's songs." Teddy explains.
"You know his way of letting out his true feelings is through music." Taeyang reminded her.
Clara knew this. Even when they argued, Jiyong would make a short song to reveal how he felt and sorry he was specially because he couldn't bring himself to actually apologize because of his high sense of pride.
"Fine, I'll listen to it. Put it on." Clara rolled her eyes, and picked up her pencil once again then started writing.
Taeyang quickly approaches the computer and put on the first song.
'That XX'
She tried to keep writing but she stopped especially after hearing the chorus. It was Jay. Jiyong knew about Jay.
"You told him about Jay?" Clara asks, not looking at Taeyang nor Teddy instead kept looking at the paper.
"Yeah. He overheard us." Taeyang explains.
The next song finished and Taeyang went back to the computer, playing the next song.
Then, there was 'Black' with Jennie.
Each word hurt more but Clara tries to hide it. Every word hit her like a knife. Each word she related to. Each word meant a lot and was obviously how he felt.
Then, 'Without You' with Rosé.
The song made a tear come out of her eyes and Teddy saw this, but didn't say anything.
The song was like a question of 'would I be ok without you?'.
'Would I make it without you?'
'Would letting go really be better or would it bring more pain?'
Soon, the song stopped.
"Can you hear it?" Taeyang asks, looking at Clara with hope.
Clara was Taeyang's bestfriend. So was Jiyong. He was trying to make it better for the both of them. He just wants them at their happiest, and their happiest was when they were together.
"Stop trying to make it happen." Clara looks at him, like an empty box as she portrayed a girl without feelings. However, she heard Jiyong. If anything, she was the person who could read him best.
"Ara-ah..." Taeyang says again.
"I'm going to work back home. I'll see you guys tommorow." She leaves.
Clara steps into her car and starts to drive home. Putting the three songs she just heard on loop.
