(in this draco is fine with muggles and stuff like he literally thinks their stuff is cool and you live in muggle america like nothing about this has anything to do with magic AT ALL you might as well be muggles okay thank youuuu)

It was a warm summer night. Maybe mid 60s. So, I guess hot? I don't know. All I know is that right now my parents friends are coming over, with their really hot son, Draco. They're just having dinner and hanging out I think? Anyways. They're almost here. I put on a cute, casual dress, cute hair, a little makeup? Is that good? I think so.

I ran downstairs just as somebody knocked on the door. I answered and the Malfoys came in. Me and Draco aren't like... friends, but we do talk and stuff. They're here all the time, so it would be awkward if we didn't. Whatever. I just hope we can hang out today. I'm kinda bored honestly.

"Y/n honey can you get Lucius and Narcissa drinks please."

That snapped me out of my thoughts quickly. I nodded and realized everyone was already sitting in the living room. Draco was sitting a little farther apart from them. He got up to come help me get drinks for everyone. God i'm dying to talk to him.

"You just as bored as me?" he asked.

"Yeah. Wanna go for a drive or something after this?"

"Sure. Sounds good."

We brought everyone their drinks and told them we were leaving. We ran upstairs to grab blankets to watch the sunset. I got in the truck (idk who tf in your family drives one but whatever) and started driving. No destination. Draco insisted on playing the music in the car as loud as he possibly could. Cute, I guess. I let out a small giggle, as his singing isn't the greatest.

We stopped at a gas station to get gas as well as food and drinks. We made a TikTok (muggles?) in the gas station before paying and heading back out. Draco decided to drive the rest of wherever we were going. He said he knew where to take me. Whatever. Less driving for me.

We drove for what seemed like forever, blasting music. He finally stopped somewhere. End of a hill/cliff. Parked to where the bed of the truck faced the sunrise. Perfect. It was perfect. The sun hadn't even gone down yet, but it was still a really pretty view.

We put down blankets and pillows in the bed of the truck. I layed next to him and he put his arm around me. We kept our music playing and watched the sun set down in the sky. At what he seemed like the perfect time, he looked at me, locking his eyes with mine. He lifted my chin, and placed a soft kiss on my lips.

"Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course I'll be your girlfriend Draco."

I cheerfully hugged him and layed back down, his arms much tighter around me. It couldn't have been a better night. It was more perfect than I had ever imagined.

He eventually drove me back home, hand on my thigh, music blasting again. This was the happiest I had been in a really long time. Probably since Cedric, my best friend, died. (idk when tf this takes place but of well) We pulled into the driveway and walked inside, laughing and smiling. Just as his family was leaving.

"Draco we have to go, okay?" Narcissa said.

"Alright mom. We just need to put these blankets away first."

We put the blankets away and sat in my room for a second. He looked up at me and placed one more kiss on my lips before saying goodbye when we walked downstairs.
