After about 2 hours of trying to find our way through the maze of streets and strip malls we finlly found where we needed to be. I smiled and slowly got out of the car feeling the heat of the summer air on my skin. I turned to the car and laughed. I finally felt free. I turned around hearing voices and laughs comming form behind me. It was a group of boys. Great, embarrass myself infront of new people on the first day. I stopped laughing and walked around to the back of the car with my mom and grabbed my carry-on bags. There werent alot and my mom already had the movers put all our things in place in the house before we got here.

I walked in the front door and just plopped down on the couch when the doorbell rang. "Ughhh, I got it mom!" I yelled to her. She peeked out from the kitchen and nodded her head. She watched as i walked to the door and i dont blame her. Its a new place and who knows who could be at the door. I slowly opened the door when i saw then. It was five boys standing in my door way. They were the ones who were laughing at me earlier. "Uh, can i help you?" I asked feeling slightly intimidated. The boy infront smiled kindly. "I'm Matt" he had warm hazel eyes and a warming smile. I noticed he had dimples so i had to smile bigger. I love dimples. Then he pointed to the boy next to him. He was a little shorter but had green eyes and black hair. He smiled and waved. "Uh thats Zacky, and the one next to him is Brian and the one behind me is Matt Wendt." Brian was the same height as Zacky but had dark brown hair and brown eyes who smiled slightly when Matt said his name. "Wait hold on. Where's Jimmy?" Matt asked while looking around. A tall boy jumped out from behind one of my bushes. "RAWR!" He screamed. We all jumped but started laughing. "And, well, thats Jimmy. He likes to terrorize everyone." Jimmy waved at me and smiled so i waved back. I guess its my turn to introduce myself now. I thought to myself. "Well nice to meet you, Im Valary, but you can call me Val." I blushed a little not being used to talking to people especially boys.

Matt smiled. "Well were having a bonfire later on tonight if you want to come. We're right next door and your mom can come too" I blushed a bright red and smiled. "Alright I'll tell her. Well I got to go now" Matt stepped back a little alright see you later?" I laughed "Yeah, see you later" and i shut the door slowly. I watched them through the window as Matt leaped into the air happily with the rest of the boys laughing hysterically behind him. I smiled and ran to the kitchen.

"Mom! The neighbors invited us to a bonfire tonight!" I yelled excited about already making friends. My mom smiled up at me after setting our dinner plates on the table. "Thats nice sweetheart! Who are they?" I blushed and rocked back and forth on my heels. "Well...theres Matt, Zacky, Brian, Matt Wendt, and Jimmy." The whole time i was talking i had a huge grin on my face. My mother smiled. "Alright sweetheart we'll go over there when were done eating." I jumped and ran to the table and instantly started eating. My mom tried to eat as fast as me but she was having trouble. "Mom its ok, I'll wait im just gonna get ready." My mom sighed loudly and smiled. "Thank god! I thought you wanted me to eat like that too!" she laughed and I rinsed off my dish and set it in the sink.

I ran up the stairs and put on more climate suitable clothes. I grabbed my lace t-shirt and put on a black spagetti strapped tanktop. I slipped on my light shorts and my black All-Star converse. "Thank god i shaved my legs before we left" i said looking down at my legs. I quickly but carefully brished the tangles out of my hair from the plane ride and put in my black bandana. I pulled out my makeup kit and applied a gold eyeshadow with black eye liner.

I stood back and examined myself happily when my mom came in. "Honey the boys said you can come whenever." I smiled. "Alright, im ready when you are!"
