Obito felt an immense pain as his final moments were approaching.

Obito looked at Naruto and said to the different version of himself

"Naruto... you better... Become Hokage."

The pain stopped and in its place he felt a large headache forming and he saw Rin. His heart stopped as he looked at her. He felt tears rolling down his face as he started to talk to her.

Obito eventually said

"Rin there is one last thing I must do."

Rin merely nodded in agreement knowing.

As space started to distort around his eye he said to her 3 simple words

"I'll be back"

Those 3 words were never kept.

After giving and seeing the battle with Kaguya through Kakashi's eyes. Obito started to leave as the last of his chakra left Kakashi's eyes he left with kamui much to Kakashi's protest and attempts to "save him".

He left.

And he felt his eye overload and the location he was planning to kamui to changed.

"What?" Obito thought "I'm an expert at this how could it be malfunctioning?!"

He tried to use his eye he trusted to Kakashi to kamui.

But the only thing that did was bring something with him.

He looked at himself and guessed that he was in his mid-twenties.

"Well it wouldn't hurt to take any and all weapons away from him." Obito thought knowing damn well that if anything using a kunai restricted Madara power.

Obito reached over to his Grandfathers kunai pouch only to have his wrist grabbed violently.

At this point Obito felt that he might've pissed himself.

The sheer killing intent from his enraged fore father.

Obito looked at him and cheekily said

"Oh? Your finally awake."

"What did you do, Obito?" Madara said calmly making Obito a little scared.

"Well Madara, you see, I, uh, might've messed up kamui." Obito said slighty looking like his clumsy younger self.

Madara took a deep breath and said

"Well lets go look for civilization."

"Do you feel the la-" Obito started to say before being cut off by Madara.

"Lack of chakra? Yes, yes I do. Look" Madara said pointing at a rabbit. " I don't sense any chakra coming from that rabbit."
