In the ensuing months Taiga grew and so did her powers. She managed to gain control of them and her shifting abilities yet deep within ears a new threat took shape. Spies blended in as friend. News of Taiga made its way to a clan of the north. A ruthless clan known as the Flying Rain led by Iron Echo, a man who made himself leader while sitting on top the previous leader's corps singling his power. He is always in search of power and he'll do whatever it takes to get it and Taiga he was after.

"Prepare to travel, there's a little wolf with my name on its collar." He said a smirk on his face. His fleet of warriors awaited his move. That night the moon was out and so was Taiga as she felt a bad omen stir in the air. She knew something was yet to pass.

The next day Taiga kept on working on her weapon; it bend at each pound of hammering she did. Shaping into a masterpiece. Others wondered what she was making, peeking in to have a look. She continued to train and work on her creation. Nights she would shift into her wolf form and run, feeling the earth crush beneath her as the wind carried many scents to her nose. She loved it very much.

Her weapon was done, now she had to learn to fight with it though in human form it was rather a heavy item to wield yet she was determined because it was expected of her to do so. "I see you have finished your weapon." Master said standing behind her. She stood there looking at it. "Now train with it." He ordered. No hesitation she picked it up, both and walked off to the opened yard used to train with katanas. The others noticed and gathered around to see.

"Defense." Master called out. She went into position and fought in defense yet her weapon of choice was too heavy. She threw and missed her target. Laughter was heard. She threw again, her weapon coming back at her in attack striking her arm as blood rained down her arm. "Attack." Master called out again. Taiga attacked throwing both one after the other again failing in maintaining balance and control; her weapons coming at her, one sliced her arm with the other flew right in front of her face landing hard in the ground. Taiga was fuming in anger as she heard laughter and insults going around her. Master shook his head and walked away leaving her in a pool of despair and humiliation.

"Why did you choose to make them?" Usui asked. "You chose a shrinken, making it ten times bigger for what? This, to be humiliated?" Taiga didn't want to hear it anymore she hit his pressure points and ran before leaping onto the roof and disappearing.

The next morning Taiga was up before the crack of dawn, sweat down her brow she trained with her weapons. She marked a few trees where she wanted to strike and wield it towards her mark each time a fail. She was getting upset and her failures she simply threw them up in the air, took in a deep breath and sat down. She closed her eyes breathing out slowly. Her weapons coming back down towards her she sat there. "Taiga!" Usui yelled as he saw her sitting there. "You need to believe in her." He saw master walking towards him. "But what if she dies?" He asked concerned for her. "Watch and see." Usui watched her.

She could hear the blade slicing the air while it made their way down. A few feet from her, her eyes flew open as she reached with one hand to grab hold of the handle, she spun on one foot placing the other firmly on the ground as she grabbed hold of the other one as it fell guiding it swiftly around and allowing hit to smash into the ground; she stood there her enormous shrinken in her hand while the blades spun in opposite directions. Usui ran to her, she placed them down and watched him run up to her. "Are you insane?" He asked frantically in her face. "You could have died!" He placed his hands on her shoulders shacking her. "Don't ever do this again you hear!"

That night Usui wanted to know more about her weapons because he was very much wrong on their potential dangerous killing methods. "Taiga please explain to me what you have created?" He asked eager to know. Taiga stood up and brought over one of them and placed it on the floor next to him. Usui could tell it was a shrinken yet it was massive the size of a trucks rim, probably eighteen inches in diameter. Only hers are doubled, two wheels put together. Usui noticed a button on the handle which was placed in the center circle, he pressed it and the shrinken brought forth its blades.

"Why are the blades not spinning?" He asked. Taiga reached over and manually spun the blades. "It's a pinwheel!" He exclaimed. "So the blades spine while in air if you press the button." He said. "Genius!" Taiga nodded. Her weapons were truly a masterpiece.
