Chapter 1- An unexpected coincidence

4 years has passed,
The PM and the ADA defeated the Decay of angles.
The PM and the ADA are still enemies but less aggressive.
The guild is normal as well.
Everything is peaceful.. except,

Chuuya was still missing for 4 years now.
The Port mafia looked for him inside yokohama city and outside, they even looked for him outside Japan, he is an Executive after all. The agency helped them too, it's Dazai and Kyouka who requested that to the presenter since Dazai is Chuuya's formal partner, and Chuuya treats Kyouka like his little sister when she used to be in the Port mafia so she cared for him. Ranpo used his ability to find him but he couldn't, who knows why.
the PM members thought that Chuuya may be killed by their enemies so they just gave up looking for him, except Dazai who would never give up, he was worried more than anyone but of course he won't admit it. He was secretly still looking for him with Ranpo's help.

No one's pov,
It was a normal day in the agency, atsushi was doing his report, Ranpo was eating his snacks and sweets, kenji was sleeping, Tanazaki and his sister were in the cafe downstairs since they had no work to do, yosano is.. well doing her work, and kunikida was working in peace without shouting since Dazai was on a mission with kyouka. It's not the first time they pair together but it still is an unusual thing.
Dazai and kyouka finished their mission and they're heading back to the agency it was around dinner time so it was dark and hard to see probably, Dazai was humming his favourite song since they both don't have anything to talk about. they decided to go by an alleyway to got there faster.
while they were walking Dazai noticed a big figure in the way, it was dark so he couldn't recognise it, he was going to pass on but he stopped when he noticed that it was breathing. Kyouka stopped beside him to look where he was looking.

Dazai's pov,
‘The big figure was breathing, was it a cat? But it was so big for a cat.. maybe a big stray dog?’ I came closer to it Kyouka-chan did so, when I was close enough to recognise it I saw a person laying on the ground ' is he sleeping in the middle of this dark alleyway?' I didn't really focused on the person I thought maybe he was a drunk man who passed out on his way.
I sigh and When I was about to walk away, I saw Kyouka frozen and still staring at the man, after a few seconds her eyes suddenly get wider and her jaw dropped "Kyouka cha-" I was cut off of her eyes tearing, she suddenly ran to the man on the ground and started sobbing with her hand on her mouth.
I really didn't know what happened to her, who was that person? Why is she crying about him? I came closer to her and the man.

When I came closer I saw that the man had injures in his small body and dirty clothes, it looked like someone was hurting him. Then I looked at the man’s face to noticed his red hair, ‘that red curly long hair.. I saw it before.. that hair belongs to.. him, it can't be-’ "it's.. ch-chuuya san.. Dazai san! Its chuuya san!!!" Kyouka chan said between her sobs.

My eyes widened, I looked at her and blinked. Then I looked back at Chuuya 'It was chuuya.. it was my precious chuuya.. The chuuya who I haven't seen for 4 years.. The chuuya who I missed so much, it was.. him' I couldn't believe it yet he is in front of me.  I narrowed my eyes and slowly kneeled down, I lay his head on my lap and hugged him as tighter as I could. he was warm.. I get my face close to his so I can hear his breaths that I missed so much.

We stayed like this for a few minutes, “Dazai san.. let's take chuuya san to the agency, so yosano san can take care of his injures.” Kyouka chan said after she stopped crying, "yeah.. you're right" I whispered but enough for her to hear me. I didn't really wanted to let go of him but I had to.

When I got up to carry chuuya I noticed a black envelope just next to him, I quickly took the envelope and put it inside my pocket before Kyouka could see it.
