Chapter 15

Kevin's POV

I woke up to a light snoring next to me. I turned around on my side to be met with a peaceful sleeping Cathy. Gosh she looked so beautiful when she was asleep.

Taking in the time studying her I realized how much regret I have doing those horrible things to her.

Throwing her to the wolves and beating her, stabbing her. She took all my anger and she still survived. She broke me but healed me at the same time.

She is such a fighter and I regret not loving her from the start. I will love her now and promise to protect her with my life even if it means I have to kill people who could potentially hurt her. I'll do it. I'll bloody kill her professor if he doesn't give her good grades.

Cathy started to groan and open her eyes slightly.

"Good morning gorgeous." I said while tucking a loose curl behind her ear.

She smiled at me and placed her hand on my cheek.

"Good morning handsome."

She looked so fucking hot naked. I was drooling over the thought of taking her again this morning and give her all the pleasure in the world.

I leaned closer to her and my lips slightly parted. She leaend closer also putting her leg over my hips and I instantly got hard as fuck feeling her wetness on my dick.

Grabbing her legs I pulled her on top of me for a ride. I grabbed her ass in one hand and her breast in the other.

Just as I was about to penetrate her there was a knock on the door. Cathy and I both jumped up knowing who would be here around this hour.

Cathy looked at me, fear in her eyes. She was scared it could be Josh the fucktart looking for her.

I looked at her and walked over to the dresser. I opened the drawer and grabbed the handgun as I put it in the back of my pocket.

Cathy and I both made our way down the stairs towards the door we were both ready to put an end to Josh.

Another knock came from the door.

I opened the door to be met with the police. Fuck!

"Good morning officer how can we help?" Cathy asked the officer.

"Good morning ma'am. I was wondering if you volks could help me?"

Cathy looked at me and nudged me on the side.

I looked at the officer and nodded my head, sweat dripped from my forehead.

"Sure sir how may we help?"

He looked at me. "Well sir I've been getting a complaint that you are illegally keeping wolves here."

I mentally did a thank you God in my head. Whiping the sweat away I laughed and said,"I'm so sorry sir but they are just magnificent and I wanted them all to myself."

He eyed me up and down and started laughing.
"I know son but their wild you can't keep them without a permit, do tou have a permit son?"

"No sir I don't."

"Well son I'm gonna have to go to write you a fine for keeping wild animals without a permit."

He started writing something on a paper and ripped a piece of paper out and handed it to me.

"Have a good day you two." He said placing the paper in my hand and walking away.

I shout out to him, "Thank you officer, you too!"

I looked at the ticket and saw the fine was Four Thousand Dollars.

Fuck!

Cathy took it and looked at it, she then gave me a kiss on the cheeck and said, "Don't worry we can go into town this month and I can open my bank account again and then I'll pay for it."

"Baby you don't have to I'll pay it, it's okay."

She started walking away and shushing me. I knew she wasn't going to let me pay that ticket she had her mind set on paying it.

I shook my head and chuckled at her.

Cathy and I were peacefully sitting on a bench outside drinking tea looking out in the wild.

We were taking a break from planting flowers that we found in the woods nearby. Cathy made me go fetch a bag and showel so we can pull them put and plant the in our garden.

Before we heade out into the woods I grabbed the promise ring and put it in my back pocket. I wanted to give it to her in the forest but that didn't work out.

Our break time was over and I took her empty cup of tea and just as she was about to stand up I put the cups down and went on one knee.

She gasped and put her hand before her mouth.

"Kevin what are you doing?"

I looked at her smiling for the first time in years again.

"Cathy will you do me the honor of being mine forever until death do us apart?"

She instantly felt to her knees grabbing my hands and sobbed.

"Cathy bab...?"

"Yes yes yes I'll be yours!", she giggled while crying gapoy tears.

I picked her up and carried her up to our bedroom and man do I love calling it ours.

A feeling of relief flood through my veins of knowing that my flower said yes to being mine she's finally mine.

Suddenly I start feeling maybe life isn't so unfair at all maybe life did what it had to do so I can get what I need and what is best for me.

Cathy she's the one she's my only now, my world and everything beyond it.

I... I L-Love her.

I can hardly believe the thought but I do I love Cathy I love her it might have seemed impossible at first but her soul and spirit grew onto me and slowly I'm changing fir the better because of her.

I never saved her.

She saved me.
