Mo's P.O.V

"Good morning Meliodas," the sliver haired girl spoke up when the group of five entered the Café to see the blonde sitting at one of the tables on his phone.

"Good morning!" His voice was cheery along with his cheeky smile, but the sliver haired girl noticed that something about it wasn't right. It dawned on her and she realized it wasn't a real smile.

"Mornin' capt'n~," the taller man said fist bumping his friend before the rest were all greeted and had said their greetings.

The rush of the day had soon approached them with many people wanting an afternoon lunch with family and friends. The day lasted shorter than normal since they didn't open late on Sundays.

"Okay Here Ban try it and tell me how it tastes!" The sliver haired girl shoved a cup full of a thick liquid in front of him as he grinned.

"Let's see if ya' concoction is worth it~," he hummed taking a sip of the peach coloured drink. He licked his lips before gulping the rest down and placing the cup down with a bit of force,"Put that on the menu this instant~, we've got ourselves a new seller all thanks to me~!"

The sliver haired girl slapped his arm before pouting,"Ban! You can't steal my recipe that's rude!" He brought his hand to ruffle her beat hair.

"I believe I just did princess~," he grinned with a sly smirk as she started hitting his chest with her curled fists lightly.

"I hate you, you're such a jerk!" She exclaimed but the two were only messing with each other as he pulled her around and into a light headlock.

"Aww~, is the little princess getting angry~?," The three other friends sucked in a breath thinking their friend was about to panic but she only stepped on his foot and stared at him.

"Bann~, let me go, please," she gave him a pouted smile making him laugh and let her go,"That's my recipe and you won't be taking it, go make something else."

"Oh do we have a challenge, how about whoever makes the better dish doesn't have to clean the bathroom for a while month while the other person has to~?"

"Wait I don't agree with this-" the brunette boy was cut off by the other challenger.

"Fine we have a deal, and we'll be doing this in partners, you can have Elaine and I'll take Meliodas so King and Diane can be judges." She looked at the two brunettes with a smile.

"I'm definitely okay with this! And the food choice will be breakfast desserts!" The brown haired girl exclaimed knowing the sliver haired girls specialty was making crapes.

"Giving the little princess a handicap I see~, we don't need any help, Come on Elaine the kitchen awaits us~!" The blonde giggled following her boyfriend into the kitchen.

The sliver haired girl turned to the blonde who had a smile on his face and grabbed his wrist lightly,"Alright, we're gonna beat Ban's jerky face so that we don't have to clean the bathrooms, you in?"

"Well I don't have much of a choice do I? But I'd be happy to help, I should probably warn you but I'm not very good in the kitchen," he laughed lightly as she had an even more determined face on.

"I'll teach you!"

The one statement has changed the atmosphere about the girl. She was so guarded and scared of being close to any man who wasn't her two friends. The two brown haired friends could tell something was different.

"Does it look like Ellie trusts him, I mean look at how close they are?" She asked the boy in a whisper who nodded in confusion.

"I can't tell, maybe him being smaller has something to do with it, you won't think he was dangerous, he looks too small for that." He said to the girl who nodded.

"I think you might be right, I mean she was comfortable with you right away since you are also smaller than her but it took her a bit longer to be comfortable with Ban." The two were puzzled.

"Like how me and Elaine were maybe she's finally ready to start opening up, even though she's not through it yet."

"It makes sense but I feel like there's something else."

"Oh my god! Meliodas that's not what you do, that's salt not sugar!" The sliver haired girl exclaimed as she giggled at how the blonde boy had put a cup of salt into their batter instead of sugar.

"Oops..you can fix that right?" He gave a cheeky grin as he looked up at her and she nodded.

"We'll have to start over so try to get the measurements right this time, and I'm taking the salt away from you I don't trust you with it." She leaned over her hand landing on his shoulder as she reached out to grab the bag of salt and bring it to her side.

The brunette immediately noticed that she had actually touched him which they didn't think would happen. After merely five minutes the sliver haired girl giggled loudly again.

"You're getting the raw eggs everywhere, you can't mix it like that. Here let me show you." She grabbed the bowl her hand on his and her other hand grabbed his own where he was holding the whisk so she could do it with him.

"Like I said, I'm not good in the kitchen." He laughed at her grumpy face.

"Not good in the kitchen and can't cook are two different things Meliodas!" She huffed before helping him to stir the batter properly,"You can't use too much force and you need to do it in a circular motion but not around the whole bowl."

He gave a nod letting her warm hands direct him. He didn't mind her being close, he didn't understand why but he found her quite attractive even if he had just gotten out of a relationship he felt something inside when he looked at the girl.

"Here you try again on your own." She went to move away but slipped on some water that had landed on the floor, but before she could hit the ground a hand was around her waist and holding her close.

"You alright there, might wanna watch your step, you could've hit your head." The blonde said helping her to stand and making sure she was fine before letting go.

She was quick to step out of arms reach from him, her body not reacting well to his touch but her heart wanted to be close to him again.

"Thank you, now let's get this finished before Ban wins and we have nothing." The smile wasn't as wide as before, the group instantly knew something wasn't right with the girl but she tried her best to hide it so they left it for now.

The blonde could only think it was his doing, that maybe he scared her but he wasn't going to just let her fall. He could tell her was touch sensitive and now knew to respect that.

He didn't know what the cause was but he had a pretty decent guess knowing the kind of situation the girl was in, he had been there once before.

Finally a new chapter, really hoped y'all like this one, I bet I'm getting people wondering about his past, also probably about the siblings past ;)
