His big hands engulfed their smaller ones completely, the rough surface tickling the contrasting soft skin.

"They're so small," he uttered. "why are they so small?"

(Name) shuffled out of their spot in his arms, kissing his forehead softly, "Maybe yours are just too big."

Entangled in each other's embraces, the two survivors of the Manor chose to spend their evening together. The moonlit room was cold, had it not been their own heat giving them warmth.

"Maybe." he hummed, as he snuggled even closer to his lover.

"I love you," he sighed, "come closer... 'm cold."

(Name)'s cheeks dusted pink; no matter how long they've been together and no matter the amount he praise them daily, they could never get used to the overwhelmingly sweet affection from the usually stern mercenary.

"Is there a reason you're blushing like that?"

(Name) shuffled even closer into his embrace, "No," they mumbled sheepishly.

He laughed, "Of course."

"Frankly, had I never met you," he started, "I don't think the me today would be very happy."

Looking up curiously at Naib, (Name) stared at him with doe eyes, their cheeks a soft cherry color.

"Goodness," he smiled, "have you always been this beautiful?"

Maybe it was cheesy, or a little bit cliche to some, but to (Name)... they would never ask for anything less.
