1x02 Some People Just Want To Watch The World Burn (PART THREE)

Rafael bends down and picks up the knife before looking back to Hope, 

Raf: Promise kept. 

Elijah: Promises should always be kept. 

Hope: Even if it means hurting someone you love. 

Hope take the knife off of Raf as Landon and Alaric come out of the cellar. 

Alaric: You both alright? 

Kol: What a question to ask?

Alaric: Let's give her a proper burial, see if you can find some shovels.

Hope and Raf walk to the cellar quickly followed by Landon as Ric's phone goes off and he answers it. 

Alaric: Dorian?

Dorian: Found it. The soft spot. That's how you kill it. 

Alaric: A knife to the heart did the trick.

Dorian: Oh. Okay. So much for research. 

Alaric: What are you reading? Game of Thrones. 

Lizzie: I was thinking more Harry Potter.

Dorian: Puff the magic dragon. 

Alaric: Look, this just doesn't make any sense. It-It has got to be something else.

Lizzie: Oh it is Something else.

Josie: Lizzie!

Lizzie: What?

The dragon begins to rise behind him and Alaric turns around. 

Rebekah: Bloody hell!

Alaric: Oh it's a dragon, alright. I'm gonna have to call you back. 

Dorian: Ric? Ric!

Hope, Landon and Raf come out of the cellar with shovels. 

Hope: Dr Saltzman?  Oh God. 

Klaus: How did you defeat the dragon? 

Hope and Alaric looked at each other before Hope spoke. 

Hope: Much to Dr Saltzman's dismay I used black magic.

Freya: Hope...

Hope: I know I have already payed the price thank you. 

Teigan: Anyway to fill in the gaps, Hope used black magic to defeat the dragon, Landon and Raf runaway leaving, Alaric upset with Hope and Hope upset with herself. 

Hayley: Why is Hope upset? 

Alaric: Because-

Hope: Dr Saltzman don't.

Josie: Don't what? Dad what did you do?

Alaric: I compared Hope to her father when he was in his most angry stage. 

Lizzie: What?! Why would you do that?

Hope: Anger makes anyone say or do something they don't mean. I've forgiven him.

Alaric and Dorian are by the school gates checking they are locked. 

Dorian: Trying to make a run for it? 

Alaric scoffs. 

Alaric: Yeah. I just noticed this gate wasn't locking. 

Dorian: You worried about people getting out?

 Alaric: I'm worried about what might wanna get in. We've gotten cozy here, carless. I had forgotten the world is full of nasty surprises. I don't know what this story is with the knife but whatever it is I- hoo I saw something today I'd thought I'd never see in this lifetime. That scared me. You know I opened this school to protect these kids. Protect my daughters. how am I supposed to protect them from stuff thats not supposed to exist. 

Both of the men walk away, and a gargoyle opens his red glowing eyes and growls. 

Teigan: That is the end of Episode two. What did you all think? 

Marcel: I'm shocked that dragons exist.

Landon: Yeah, well it's only gonna get worse. 

Rebekah: What do you mean?

Hope: The dragon is not the scariest monster we have fought, trust me. 

Teigan: Now let's move onto Episode three. 

Hope and the twins begin to look uncomfortable as they remember the events of this monster, with Alaric getting restless as well.

Thank you all for being patient with me, I have been going through some health issues so i'm sorry that my updates have been slow, However before we continue I would like to know if you guys would like me to include Caroline. I had a message a few weeks ago asking if Caroline would be included, I'm happy to put her in if that's what you guys want. So let me know in the comments.
