Perfection

JJ woke up and looked over to see her wife and daughter. Emily was in her own little world. She had their daughter in her hands held out in front of her. Emilys' eyes were carefully examining every inch of her daughter Emily had tears in her eyes as she laid the infant in the crook of her legs carefully unwrapping the blanket to get a look at the infant. JJ just watched with a smile on her face. Motherhood suited Emily. Emily wrapped the infant back up and held her close. After a few minutes JJ made her presence known gently saying "Hey lover."

"Hey baby. How are you feeling?"

"Really good. Especially when I get to wake up to you two."

"I know her name."

"Oh really what is it?

Emily was about to talk when a soft knock caught their attention. Emily handed JJ the baby walking to the door whispering. She turned back to JJ and JJ said "Let them in babe."

Emily opened the door and in walked Elizabeth, Garcia, Hotch, Morgan, Reid and Rossi. Each had smiles so wide. Elizabeth was the first to walk up to JJ and asked "May I?"

JJ gingerly handed her daughter off. Elizabeth looked down tears in her eyes. "Oh she's perfect. Hi sweet girl."

Reid asked "What is her name?"

Emily and JJ smiled at each other.

JJ said softly "Go on Mama."

Emily said "I would like you all, our family, to meet our daughter..."

Derek said "Come on Em!"
Emily laughed "Her name is Roselyn Grace Jareau-Prentiss. We call her Grace."

"Oh Grace!"

Garcia said "That's perfect!"

Elizabeth turned around handing the baby to Rossi "Ciao bella"

The group ooed and awed over Grace as she was passed around. Grace started to get fussy and JJ looked at Elizabeth who instantly picked up on JJs distress and said "Okay I think it's time we let the family rest."

Emily took Grace handing her to JJ. As the group left Emily said "Pen, Derek can you guys hang back for a minute?"

JJ reached out grabbing Elizabeth's hand before saying "Thank you."

Pen and Derek stood together as Emily stood beside JJ. JJ said "You two are our best friends. WIth our job Emily and I know we are never promised tomorrow." JJ started to tear up "If anything was to happen to us. We would like you two to take Grace. We are asking if you two could please be Graces godparents?" Garcia nearly screamed but Derek quickly put his hand over her mouth.

Derek said "We would be honored."
