Chapter Eleven: Missing

The sun gently sets, the sky is a mixture of yellow and reds. I yawn and stretch, they're missing I think to myself.

I jump up and notice my side still burns. I look around my room for the first real time, the light purple walls are just the right shade and the carpet match's.

Sighing I turn to where my clothes are neatly placed, I grab my shirt and laugh at it, the wolf watches me, the blue faded jeans fit loose on my body, so I can phrase quicker if needed.

Jay comes in with a look of surprise. "What?" I ask him.

"Toby was too hard on you, you know this pack is you too right?" He asks.

"He wasn't too hard on me, I know he was just trying to look out for me" I reply, avoiding his last question.

"Why were you surprised?" I ask trying to change the subject.

"Because you haven't been awake for five days" He sobs out.

I laugh and cry at the same time, thinking of Jaze sets me off even more. Jay cuddles me, taking Jaze's job while he is not here.

"Hey, we will get them back" Jay tells me.

"How?" I sob, my breathing starts to pick up and Jay panic's.

"Toby!" He yells while laying my body down onto the floor.

Toby runs into my room and I watch as his eyes widen, he kneels next to me and starts to sing the song Jay sings to me.

"Jay get our pack doctor out here NOW" Toby breaks off the song to command.

My sense's shift into overdrive, trying to help regain control of my breathing. "Keep calm, Hunter your going to be fine" Jet says walking into my room.

The doctor comes and gives me something that really helps a lot, my breathing starts to slow down.

Sitting on the sofa where the guys put me, Jay brings me a drink and the rest of them stay close by.

After two hours I'm ready to get my pack mate and brother back but Toby argues against it. "Why won't you let me help" I say on the brink of tears.

"Because you could be hurt" He says like it answers everything.

"I don't care, I want my brother back" I nearly yell, and nothing else matters.

"Well I do, that's final" He commands.

"What did that paper say?" I say trying to distract him and intrigued at the same time.

"It said to give you up or say goodbye to the rest of your family" He says in a whisper.

I stare at Toby for ages, knowing it's my fault, threatens to send me into an attack again.

"Hey I found a lead" Jay shouts from the bedroom.

Everyone runs in to see, the screen shows plans of the rundown warehouse and I growl. Toby watch's me closely "That's where they took us" I say looking at Jet for agreement.

"Okay lets get supplies" Toby says while heading to the basement. Toby glares at me, telling me to stay here. I smile knowing I'm going to follow them, I was never good at following orders.

I run up to my room to gather my thing. knife I think to myself, Gold jumps on my bed and alerts me when Jay starts to head for my room, I mange to hid everything just in time.

"I have a present" He tells me.

"What, tell me" I say while fussing over my dog, Gold.

Gold sits on my knee and licks my face, "Here" He says while holding a small thing in his hand.

"What's that?" I ask.

"A tracker and it will be able to communicate with the rest of us" He says.

I nod and grab it. "Put it in your ear. Before you do, it will latch onto you so it will hurt" He warns me.

I put it in as instructed and pain works around my head "Yikes" I yelp.

"You ok?" he asks me. I nod and thank him then leave the room. I walk to the place where I will have the best chance of following and wait.

"Testing, testing. Hunter can you hear us?" My pack mates voices fill my left ear.

"Yes I can hear you" I reply.

I listen to the team "She might follow us" Jet says.

"I know but it's a risk we need to take" Toby replies.

"We won't lose her, she can fight" Jay says to back me up.

I roll my eyes and wait even more, time goes by slowly, I check my phone every five minutes but they seem longer.

"Soon we will go" I hear Toby address the team.

Finally I think, words sound behind me and I swing round to look. "Hey we are going now" Jay says. I nod and grab him in a bear hug.

"Love you" I whisper, knowing no more needs to be said.

He kisses my head then turns to leave, the rest come up in front of him and they all head out of the door.
