My dating life isn't exactly where I want it to be considering my work hours. I barely have time to date but whenever the chance presents itself, I take it.
I'm sitting across from this woman I met last night at the bar. She isn't supermodel gorgeous but she's do-able. Her soft features, brown eyes and shoulder length hair is what attracted me to her.
I notice she's scared to eat the way she's picking at her potatoes and prime ribs.
"How is it?" I ask trying to break the ice.
She smiles politely and places her fork down.
"It's a bit overcooked if you ask me."
I slightly shake my head and let out a light chuckle.
"We could've went to Famous Dave barbecue for this." She say with attitude.
What was I thinking bringing her to a five star Resturant when its obvious her definition of a fancy meal is Olive Garden.
When I first approached her at Ollie's Pub I was just looking to get my rocks off but being twenty-five and never experiencing a real relationship, I decided to test it out but now I tend to believe I made the wrong choice. Especially with her.
"Will you excuse me for a minute?" I ask while standing.
"Go ahead." She says without making eye contact.
I waste no time going to the restroom.
I walk to the mirror and look myself over. My slightly full lips and light hazel eyes are some of my best features to me but my perfect smile, dimples in my cheeks and chin are what attracts women the most.
It's safe to say, I'm full of myself but I remain humble. With my good looks and personality, it's hard to find any good women. I take one more look at myself and leave the restroom.
"That was a long time." She teases as I walk back to the table.
"Sorry, I had a call."
I take a look at my watch and realize that it's getting late.
"Can I offer you any dessert?" The waiter ask while approaching us.
"Just the check." I say almost immediately.
"Sure." He smiles.
"Next time can we just go to Chillis?" She ask and I'm instantly annoyed.
The waiter walks back with the check and I drop two hundred down onto the table.
As I drive her home she reaches over and tugs at my jeans. Within minutes her head is in my lap and I'm trying my best to focus on the road. We could've did this in the beginning and I would've saved two hundred dollars.
When I'm finish, I pull in front of her house. She leans over to kiss me and I pull back.
"Have a nice night."
"What?" She asks confused. "You aren't going to come in?"
"I have work in the morning."
"Will you call me?"
"Yeah." I lie. "Goodnight Toya."
"It's Tameka. Asshole!" She snaps as she gets out and slams the door.
"Well at least I don't have to call her." I say to myself before pulling off.
