The tension was near visible, taina stayed silent while y/n typed away. Taina had left rainbow seven months ago and she met y/n at a coffee shop, of course it took a few months to fully break her pchycholigical barriers but they both got through it together and the late operative was warming up, of course there were still slip-ups, and by slip-ups it meant nearly slicing someone's throat but they did it together , and that's why she loved him so much, she couldn't imagine life in Canada if it weren't for him. But y/n was doing work, this whole quarantine thing was messing with taina, he was a game developer, working on Titanfall 3 and the 10th season of Apex Legends, she loved him, but he got boring sometimes, and that's when she'd strike

I was calmly typing to my colleagues and I heard soft footsteps behind me
"Hi tae" I stated, no response. I sighed "check the time, idioto" she responded
I check the time, 10:52"merde"
Taina softly laughs "remember our promise. let's get you to bed, genius"
"Eh, you look as tired as me.. if not more." Finishing that sentence was brave because taina was glaring at me, very intensely, and her glare turned into a happy one as I hugged her. "Let's go to bed mon amour" I said, yawning soon after. Taina looks at me shortly and looks back at the bed and starts to lay down, purposely taking most of the bed. Smiling, I pick taina up, lay down and set her down next to me. "How was work" taina asked "great" I replied. "The game should be ready by this Easter and the new season is ready for launch." I replied happily "how was yours, tae tae?" I said "great, the kids in Canada are so nice!" As seen, she softened enough to teach! She teaches both my niece and nephew in the 1st and 3rd grade, oh Kelly and Fredrick, Kelly and Fredrick l/n. Taina has taken big strides since rainbow, she took therapy for her psychopathic tendencies, she cooks and fishes to relieve her stress, and hasn't hurt a person in 3 months! I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but she used to do it weekly. I'm so proud.
