I'm struggling with what to name these lol.

Your eyes gently fluttered open as you noticed Carl, was carrying you. You mumbled, confused and Carl whispered calmingly "shh, just a moment."

You snuggled in his arms as he carried you a short way through the hallway of the Alexandria house. You figured that you had to keep quiet because everyone else would be sleeping, but you didn't even know what time it was.

As he laid you down on the mattress, he blushed sweetly and told you "you must have been reading Judith a story and then ended up falling asleep. When I saw you and her, I thought I would take you back here."

"Aw, thanks" you whispered, still in a sleepy state, "hug?"

"How could I not" he replied, giggling.

You crawled over to him as he sat down and rested your head in the crook of his neck, almost falling back asleep.

He ran his fingers through your hair, soothing your scalp.

"Why were you awake anyway?"

"I was on a walk, just around Alexandria so please don't worry, Michonne and Rick had already gone to sleep and I knew you were either asleep or with Judith so I did my own thing for a while."

"Please be safe" you answered, holding him closer.
