My head is killing me, I swear I feel like I'm dying.

Coffee'd be a big help.

A few minutes have passed since me and the kid with rabies argued. I did say some messed shit, I do feel bad about that.

Monoma's laying on his side, facing the wall; most definitely not asleep.

"Stop staring at me, creep..." His tired voice mumbles and he shifts to get comfortable.

"I was about to ask you if you drank coffee, but I guess you're undeserving. Considering the fact that I allowed you to sleep on my bed, take up an hour and a half of my time,  let you soak up in my perfectly clean bathtub and drench it in blood-"

"Sweet Jesu- FINE! Thank you for your, much appreciated," He turns and glares aggressively at me. "hospitality." He spits the last word bitterly. Monoma sits up with a grimace. "Yes I drink coffee, but I much prefer tea."

"The only kinds of teas I have are floral flavors-"

"Precious."

"Shut up!" I drag myself to my feet and reach for my phone. "Do you have a preference?"

"Jasmine" Came his reply. I make my way to the electric kettle and flip the switch on, allowing the water to boil. I cross my arms over my chest and stare at the water absentmindedly. The faint sound of Monoma's footsteps made their way to the bathroom and the door closed. The quiet click of the lock did not go unnoticed.

After a few minutes of listening to the bathroom sink running, the sound of the kettle shutting off grabs my attention. Making my way to the cupboard and selecting one of my few tea cups and a larger coffee cup and gently place them on the small counter space. I do have sugar, but I don't know if he likes that kind of thing.

I blink slowly and let out a tired yawn as I place a teabag into the smaller cup and pour water over it. The steam floats up and brushes against my face. I turn my attention to making myself coffee, and the bathroom door opens quietly. His faint footsteps shuffle back toward the bedside and I hear him unplugging his phone.

"Yer gonna need to get your wounds checked out by Recovery Girl. Do you take sugar?"

"what-"

"Sugar," I take a sip from my scalding hot coffee and instantly regret it. "in your tea."

"Uh," He says absently. "Yeah, just a little bit." He squints at his phone screen and continues tapping away.

"How're your hands?" I ask quietly as I put sweetener in his tea. God, I'm so tempted to just put a shit ton of sugar in there.

I turn to bring him his tea, I give it to him and all goes just fine. But when I turn back around, coffee in hand, my foot bumps into thin air and I falter, splashing coffee onto my bare feet. "Shit! Fuck, ow! Goddamn-"

"Oh you got all the luck." He chuckles and sets his phone aside.

"The fuck do you mean?!" I spin around (another mistake) to glare at him and coffee splashes once more onto my feet. "Ugh!" I set the coffee on my desk and go to grab a washcloth. Wetting it, I kneel down and start washing the sticky mess off my feet.

"Let's just say that it involved a glass cup filled with a berry smoothie, my unsteady feet, and a white carpet." Monoma lifts the cup to his mouth and takes a light sip, cautious of the heat.

"Is that what happened to your-"

"Oh! And another carpet. That incident involved a container of soup though." He sighs in exasperation. "All in the same day." Monoma shakes his head in disappointment.

"What about the whole dorm thing. All I know is that I was woken rudely by Shitty Hair, saying that the 1B dorms were on fire and that there were a couple of teenagers laughing and destroying that whole area."

"Ah-" He picks up his tea again and takes another small sip. "I don't know what that's about. I literally had just laid down and the building started shaking. Then came everything else. Tetsu said they were bad people, that's all I gathered in the moment." He set his cup down and started fiddling with his bandages. "Then I burned my hand on the door handle, got successfully outside, almost didn't though because the building was collapsing, and then saw the heroic Class A in all their glory, coming to save the day, yet again!"

I caught bitterness in his words.

He's definitely salty about that.

Whereas, I'm just tired.
