"Mr. midoriya you are an omega." The doctor says reading off of his paper.

I sit there in shock after a few moments my mom asks"I..are you sure?" 

There is nothing wrong with being an omega, after all my mom is an omega. we are shocked because male omegas are rare and it is very dangerous to be one. Male omegas are very sought after by gay men who want biological children. They are also taken advantage of very frequently. Society hasn't been very accepting of male omegas, at least until about 50 years ago when a protection law was passed in Japan but even with the protection laws, male omegas are very discriminated against. Also, male omegas have a very high chance of dying during pregnancy. The male omega heat cycle lasts a lot longer than the female omegas. The male omegas' heat lasts 7 days, while females last 5. Because of the many dangers, Most male omegas take on multiple mates in order for protection. 

"Yes ma'am, I am very sure. It says here on the sheet," he shows the paper to my mom and me. "We ran this test multiple times just to be sure. your body is producing estrogen and other hormones that are in the levels of that of a male omega. Although it is never confirmed until your first heat/rut when the changes in your body are complete but by the levels, in your body, you are an omega Mr.Midoriya," he states matter of factly "Would you guys like some time to talk about this before we go over some necessary precautions and actions?" 

"Yes please," my mom says to the doctor he leaves the room shutting the door behind him.

"Isuku are you okay?" She says I realize she is talking to me. 

"Mom I really don't know how to feel about this. Im just shocked is all, I mean me, an omega, a rare male omega at that. I really do not know what to say. Im not sure if I am happy or disgusted with this fact. I mean me Isuku Midoria, an omega" I sign quickly my hands fumbling. A gentle pair of hands brings me into a warm embrace. 

"Isuku, listen to me, no matter what you are, you are still my son. The fact that you are an omega does not change who you are. You are a very strong boy, I know you can handle any challenge you will face " She takes her soft hand and wipes away the tears falling from my eyes 

"Thank you, mom." We stay in a hug for a few moments until we hear a knock on the door. My mom looks down at me as we separate I nod my head and she tells the doctor to come in.

"I would like to discuss what it means for Mr. Isuku to be an omega. Obviously, you know that means you can have children right Mr.midoriya" I nodded and he continues "I would like to suggest birth control if you are interested." 

I softly say not really wanting to speak but forcing it out, "I would like to think that over and do more research, I am just finding out about this there is no way I could have an answer for that! I mean I don't know what the possible side effects of it are and what different types there are." anger slightly showed on my face. I can't believe this is his first thought after telling me that im an omega, really.
I turn to my mom and sign to her "I would like to do some of my own research before I agree to anything. If that is okay mom? I can't believe this is his first thing what kind of bull crap is this" My mom nods at me in complete agreement.

 "That is alright Mr.midoriya, One of the prescriptions I am writing for you is scent blockers. If you are in a place or situation where it is unsafe for someone to know you are an omega inject one of the capsules and it will block your scent for 12 hours. I will also be writing one for heat suppressants. I cannot stress this enough, they are for emergencies only. They are to only be used if you start your heat in an unsafe place. These ones only last for 6. Hours to allow you to get to a safe location. Both medicines come in a capsule format to fit into a collar or necklace. When you need to use them u can press a button on the necklace or collar and it will inject you with one dose of the medicine. There are many different kinds im sure your mom will help you find which one will work for you. I am also going to prescribe you medicine to help u through your heat. It'll help with some of the pain. Also here is a book all about being a male omega and other issues and ways to solve them in this book and a few pamphlets for different types of birth control and heat blockers.
