Alexandra POV:
QUIETLY I SNEAK out,not wanting to wake my Father.
I know it's almost impossible for my father to treat me this way but he has been like this ever since my mother died which was 14 years ago.
He wishes I had died along with her and therefore took out his anger and frustration on me,it hurts but I have learnt to live with it.
I try to run to school,only to reduce my pace as my aching side slowed me down,I still managed to get to school early.

I quickened my pace,I was late. Late to get home on time,I almost started shedding tears as I could imagine the things he has planned for me as my punishment.
I carefully pushed the door open after saying a quick prayer,I closed my eyes expecting the worse,when I didn't hear anything I opened my eyes only to see him in the kitchen.
He had his hands in his unkempt hair and kept murmuring things I couldn't hear,he looked at me and motioned me over with his hands.
"Go to the nearest café,get me a cappuccino" he said and shoved some amount of money in my hands,which I found weird because he always makes them himself or I make it for him.
But I couldn't question him to test his patience because he doesn't seem like he's in a good mood,not like he's ever been in one.
So I just hurried out the door again, thanking God for saving me from another beating.
I got to the nearest café but the line was sort of long,I had no choice but to join in.
Finally my turn came,I took my order and walked to the door but I wasn't watching where I was going,so I hit a wall and the cappuccino poured on it.
Tears brimmed in my eyes as I realized my mistake would cause me fresh beatings and punishments. I was lost in my thoughts, I didn't realize that the wall was indeed a person.
"What the fuck?" His deep voice with a very noticeable accent sounded round the café and all eyes were on us.
"I'm v...v...very sorry,it was an honest mistake" I apologized looking down at my feet. He was quiet for a while but I could feel his stares on my face. "Don't you all have something to do?" He said in the direction of the onlookers,who carried on their activities immediately and then he walked past me without saying a word.
Another chapter completed, my updates would be random.
