Y/N's POV

It has been a few weeks since I saw Myung Dae. I had a lot of work to do as I joined a company nearby.

I liked working at the café but my salary wasn't enough so I had to get a second job. I started working as a secretary for the CEO. He was a really good looking guy. Kind but strict to everyone, always cheerful and social. I loved working here. He treated me equally and with respect.

I was running towards the building.

-Oh no-no-no. I'm going to be late. Why now? I muttered to myself. Today was the day of our most important meeting. We have to sell our newest products to a beauty company. If we succeed it will be the biggest selling of the year. I really can't mess this up. I rushed through the door and bumped right into my boss. I began to apologize continuously:

-I'm so so sorry! He chuckled.

-It's alright. I'm glad that you're here on time. His voice was warm and soft. It was like a hot summer breeze. I quickly fixed my outfit and hair. -Can you please hold these for me? He asked and handed me a pack of files. We were walking down the halls and I could smell his cologne. It had a sweet scent. I looked at him. His face was serious. He was probably thinking about the meeting. His wavy brown hair was slightly covering his yellowish eyes. Suddenly his voice brought me back to the real world.  -Is there something I can help you with? He asked with a slight smirk.

-Oh crap I've been staring at him for too long. He probably noticed. -N-no...I'm was just daydreaming sorry. I blushed.

He looks like this

He looks like this. His name is Soomin Han. 28 years old. CEO of the company.

-Can I get you anything to drink sir? I asked the strict looking man. He was our customer. He came with a very tall woman who looked at me with an ice-cold glance.

-Bring me a hot latte with no sugar. He scoffed at me. I wasn't used to this kind of treatment but I had to swallow it because I knew this was important for the company. I looked at the woman.

-Nothing for me. She said with a moderated tone.

-And the usual for me, please. Soomin Han smiled at me.

-Right away sir! I quickly left the room to make their drinks. I poured coffee and milk into my boss's cup with one sugar and topped it with whipped cream. It was his favorite. One of the main reasons I liked working here is because when I make coffee people are appreciative and give me kind comments about it. I made the business man's drink too.

-Thank you Y/N! Soomin Han said as I handed him his order. I gave the other cup to the man. He didn't even bother to thank me just grunted. I stepped back and stood in the corner so I can help them if they need anything. He took a sip of his coffee and spat it out.

-What is this? This is disgusting and not what I ordered! He yelled at me.

-But this is a hot late with no sugar. I whimpered.

-I know what a late taste like so don't try to be so smart. You had one job, failed it and now you have the audacity to talk back at me!? His face was all red and he spit everywhere as he shouted at me.

-I'm so sorry I'll make another one. I started making my way to the office kitchen with tears in my eyes but my boss stopped me.

-There will be no need for that Y/N. He didn't have his usual smile on his face. I froze.

-That's it. I'm going to be fired. I thought to myself.

-Ah good I see you know how to handle these useless women. Fire her on the spot! The man smirked. But his happiness wouldn't last long.

-Leave. Now. My boss said but he wasn't looking at me. The businessman looked shocked.

-What?

-I said leave! We won't work with anyone who treats others like this so there is no deal.  He looked dead serious.

-Just so you know, you lost your most important clients because of this bitch. The man hissed it between his teeth. Suddenly Soomin Han stood up and towered over him.

-I won't say it again. Leave!  His eyes were glowing in anger. They left without another word.

I started sobbing.

-I'm so sorry boss! You've lost our biggest clients just because of me. He came over to me and held my hands in his.

-Don't blame yourself. He was a jerk and treated you badly. That is more important than money. We still have big clients so don't worry about it. I wiped my tears.

-Thank you for standing up for me. I smiled at him. He looked me in the eyes.

-Oh I almost forgot. It will be the opening of this nearby jazz bar. If you don't have anything planned for tonight maybe we could check it out?

-Yea sure! I would love to. I answered happily.

-Great! If you want to you can go home for the rest of the day and I'll pick you up at 7:00.

I still had a lot of time so I decided to look for an outfit for tonight. I still can't believe he didn't accept the company's offer just to defend me. It was so sweet of him. I slightly blushed. -Wait. What am I doing? He is my boss and he probably doesn't think of me that way. I was putting on elegant outfits. I found a white turtleneck shirt, a black skirt, and a dark red coat. It is perfect.

Here is the outfit

Here is the outfit.

I just finished doing my makeup when the doorbell rang. I grabbed my bag and rushed down the stairway. He was waiting for me at the gate. He wore a black suit with a tie.

-Is this outfit okay or should I change it into something more formal? I asked him shyly. -No need. You look breathtaking. He said with a kind smile.

-Shall we go? He opened the car door for me and closed it after. He had a huge car with many modern features. I didn't know he was so rich. I mean he is the CEO but it is a rather small company. We sat in silence for the car ride. Only the quiet music from the radio was breaking the silence. His scent was intoxicating and I could feel this weird tension between us.

We arrived at the bar. It was packed with people. Miraculously two seats were free by the bar counter.

-What can I get you, ma'am? The bartender asked. I gave him my order and Soomin Han did too.

We started chatting about work and our personal lives. The music wasn't too loud and everything was going great. Little did I know that someone was watching me from a table at the back.
