Chapter 24

The rest of the week that I stayed at home was somehow interesting, Hunter kept sending gifts and stuff with Nick every day after school, the first 3 days Nick did it without complaining, but the rest was the days he kept cursing Hunter and saying that he wasn't the mail or his servant, and so far I have heard nothing from Charlie, if he does know about Hunter sending those gifts then I have a feeling he is pretty mad.

And today I can finally get back to school, I have been dying to leave this house, the stiches are out and the doctor said that I am fine and that for the next couple weeks I should just avoid putting lots of pressure on my leg.

Both Millie and Nick picked me up today and when I asked Nick why is he in Millie's car,he changed the subject, and Millie was extremely red,I know something is definitely going on between them.

I am literally glowing with happiness, the cold isn't even getting to me,usually the cold leaves me in a bad mood.

"How can you be excited for school, it is the worst place in the history of mankind!" Nick groans.
Exams are starting in 2 weeks, technically everyone is stressed, and ofcourse Nick just complains the whole time.

"Try being in the house for 2 weeks and not being able to do anything without your parents constantly telling you how irresponsible you are!" I tell him and he just laughs.

When I get to my locker, Millie is standing there and she looks pretty excited, maybe it's because Nick is here,but something catches my eye,my locker is decorated with balloons, what on earth.
I look at Millie and give her this weird look.

"Don't look at me like that,it wasn't me, I swear!" Millie says.
I open my locker, and the inside is filled with books,and they are all the books I have ever wanted,the harry potter series, the lorien legacies and the percy Jackson series, maybe God send them from above.

"Jeez,that's a lot of books, did anyone have access to your locker?" Nick asks me,I shake my head, I feel like I'm in heaven.
While going through the books,a note falls down.

             I am sorry for everything I did.

                       Please forgive me.

             Will you go on a date with me?

If yes,then hold one of the lorien  legacies, and if.  no,hold one of the harry potter.

I turn around and see Hunter looking at me from a few lockers away.

"So what will you choose?" Nick says over my shoulder.
I hold up one of the lorien legacies and Hunter instantly lights up,and the bell rings and all of a sudden there's a whole army of students between us.
When the hall does clear,it is only the two of us left, none of us say anything for a while.

"Sorry to interrupt, but classes have started!" Both me and Hunter turn around and see Charlie, he looks at Hunter and doesn't even look at me,Hunter nods and Charlie walks away.

"Can I take you on a date on Friday?" Hunter asks nervously.

"Yah,Friday sounds cool!" I say awkwardly.
After a few more minutes of awkward, we go to class.

During lunch time, both Nick and Millie tell me that if Hunter hurts me,I shouldn't hesitate to punch him.

"Ohh God, what am I suppose to wear!" I place back and forth in my room, today is finally Friday, Hunter should be here in an hour,and I still don't know what to wear.
