Berlin's POV

One Week Later

Apartment #451

After a week of lying low, we all decided to meet up again and hang out to celebrate our successful heist. "I think we should have a toast, to a successful job." Moscow said, holding up a bottle of beer. The four of us held up our bottle for the toast and we went back to playing Xbox. We started playing some Halo and just fucking around when the doorbell rang. Moscow got up and looked through the peephole. He said. "Hey guys, there are two guys in suits outside our door." When he said that, we all got a bit nervous. Did the Feds find us or was this just a coincidence. Moscow reached over and opened the drawer on the desk next to the door. He pulled out a snubnose Bronco 44 and tucked it into his inside waistband. He opened to door slightly and said. "Hello sirs, may I ask who you two are?"

"Hello, I'm special agent Steele and this is my partner, special agent Anderson. We wish to have a word with the four of you." Moscow nodded and said. "Alright sirs. We'll be right with you." All of us stood up and walked outside of the apartment. We kept walking until we we exited to building and walked towards a tan SUV with blacked out windows. The investigator named Anderson opened the doors and the four of us piled into the back seats. Moscow was looking around the interior of the car and said. "Now that no one else can hear us, why dont you tell us who you really are." Moscow said.
Investigator Steele, said. "What do you mean kid? We told you we are investigators." I could tell that the investigators were starting to get agitated, based on the way they stiffened up and their knuckles were clenched. Moscow continued to talk. "This may be an armored vehicle, but this is no government vehicle." When he said that, Anderson lost it and pulled a Crosskill from his jacket and pushed the barrel against Moscow's forehead. "Say something else motherfucker, I dare you." Investigator Steele grabbed the gun from him and yelled. "For fucks sake Wolf! What the hell is your problem, we need them alive." Wolf seemed like he was ashamed. "Sorry Dallas. I just lost it, you know."

We rode the rest of the way in silence, not even making a noise other than Moscow humming the same song on a loop. Wolf asked Moscow. "What the fuck are you humming?" Moscow stopped humming and said. "Russian national anthem, why?" Wolf said. "Just asking." The car pulled up to what looked like a laundromat and went around back. The car pulled into the garage; waiting for us were two other people in suits. One had a pale complexion, a dark blue suit, and a buzz cut; the other had dark skin and a gray pinstripe suit. Wolf and Dallas parked the car and let the four of us out. "Hello, we're special agents...." the man in the dark blue suit started to say before being cut off by Dallas. "They already know who we are." He seemed disappointed, but let it slide. "So who exactly are we talking to?" London asked. Dallas introduced the other two. "The one in the blue suit is Hoxton and the other one is Chains." The four of them walked us into the building and made sure no one saw. The building had boxes everywhere, some labeled with a name and some had a strange label on it. One read Green Bridge, another read Counterfeit. Dallas tapped me on the shoulder and handed me a earpiece, then did the same for my friends. "Hello you four, the name is Bain. Let's just say that I saw your little performance a week ago and for once I'm actually impressed by a crew of amateur heisters." I wasn't sure if he was praising us for impressing him, or insulting us by calling us amateur.
"So why exactly are we here for?" Moscow asked. Bain cleared his throat and said. "I was looking into bringing some new blood into our crew and when I saw the heist you your pulled, I was convinced that you were the ones we have been looking for. So what do you say, will you join the Payday crew?"

Moscow, London, and Galway looked at me, they seemed like they were waiting for my decision. "Yes, we'll join."
I could almost hear Bain smile, "Fantastic, first order of business is to show you the safehouse." Dallas placed a bundle of money on a scale held by a courthouse statue and the a segment of the floor opened up. "Go on and head down." Bain said.

Moscow jumped down without hesitation, and was followed by London and Galway. "Fucking hell." I followed behind them and I heard the other four walking down the stairs.

"Down here is our whole operation. That computer is where we get contracts from our employers. Most of our contracts aren't time sensitive so we don't need to accept them until we're ready. That's the vault where the spending cash will be kept; sadly only twenty percent of the score is available to you guys, but the other eighty percent is sent to an offshore bank account that will be useful if you need to leave the country." Bain continued, absolutely shotguning us with information. "That pretty much sums up the tour, cause the rest of the areas are just training." Moscow examined a disassembled sentry gun on a nearby workbench and ask. "So if we join your crew, we don't have to change our masks right?" Bain reasured us and said we can keep the masks we have. He sighed with relief. "I only have one more question. When do we start?" Bain went quiet from a couple of seconds, then said. "Tommorow. Meet us here and bring your masks."
