Ariana's povThis is our last weekend in Nigeria. I can't believe we have been here for two weeks already. It so fun over here. The people are so loving and caring. To be honest this wasn't how I thought Nigeria will be.
By the stories I used to hear about it. I thought it was going to be one hell of a scary country but I was proved wrong as the people here are so kind and welcoming.Grandma Christine and grandpa George are the funniest and most amazing people ever.
I even made new friends during my short time stay here. I met some of Gabriel's cousin's from his mother side. Omolola and Akindele. Omolola is a very beautiful girl.she has brown eyes, a glowing brown skin and a gorgeous figure.
Gabriel Told me she reminds him of his sister patrisha. Cause they look so much alike. Omolola just turned eighteen yersterday. Her birthday party was lit. We danced to Fuji musics (a traditional Nigerian song) to top it all off I got to eat as much cake as I want.
I had a lot of fun. Grandma even made me change into an ankara(An African atire). A smile crept on my face as I remember how Gabriel's eyes glowed with adoration seeing me in ankara yesterday. Even I knew I was looking beautiful.
Akindele almost spoilt my mood as he kept laughing at the sight of me in ankara but after receiving a hard glare from Grandma he shut his mouth and pretend to be doing something else. Even Gabriel is scared of grandma. I never expected the great arrogant Gabriel Alexander to be scared of anyone. But to my pleasent surprise he is scared of his grandmother and I am going to use that to my advantage.
The house is normally boring for me at noon time cause omolola will be at school and those assholes Gabriel and Akindele will be at work. grandpa traveled to Lagos but thankfully his going to be back today. Grandma's doctor advised her to be taking more rest lately so she is sleeping in her room.
Living me all alone in this huge villa. It a five story building that is three times the size of mine and Gabriel's Mansion. The maids are in the last floor and this days I am becoming too lazy to walk around the house I could have gone to have some fun chats with them.
But I am already missing grandma, so I am going to go sleep besides her. Walking through the numerous hallways without remembering where exactly is grandma's room. I got tired and sat on the carpet floor thankfully one of the maids saw me and was kind enough to lead me there. I careful opened her room door and closed it back gently. I tiptoed to her bed and lay beside her. I didn't even know when sleep took over me.
Wake up arewa mi(my beauty. in Yoruba language). It already time for dinner grandma's beautiful soft voice brought me out of my Oblivion. as she taps my shoulder gently. No grandma I want to sleep a little bit longer, I pout as I snuggle more into her.
She laughs. followed by a deep manly chuckle.I snap my eyes open only to find Gabriel standing at the door way laughing at me and grandma. What funny grandma asks him. Um it nothing grams I just came to say dinner is ready. He stutters. I stalk my tongue out mocking him. he just smile at my childishness and walks away.
After eating pounded yam and eggusi soup(a Nigerian soup. It called melon soup in English) my stomach was over full.
Gabriel informed that we will be going back to New York tomorrow. Making my mood turn sore. I wish I could take Grandma with me. she has giving me so much love this past few days that I can't even imagine living without her. But deu to her health condition she won't be able to to travel for now.
Akindele suggest for us to throw a pool party tonight. I looked at him as if he was crazy. How are we going to arrange a pool party at this hour of the night. But I guess I forgot the power of money.thirty minutes later everything was all set up and the family pool party was already in full swing.
I, Lola and grandma were wearing a matching swimsuit while the boys were also wearing matching shorts. Damn those copycats. Hours later grandpa also joined us. Hello my love beautiful wife. Grandpa says to grandma. making her blush and slaps his shoulder playfully.
Gorge Don't forget the children are watching she says shyly. Oh let them watch. I won't ever hide my love for my evergreen beautiful wife.Awwwwn, we all gawk at them and say in unison. You two are the best couple ever. That made grandma's blush deeper and it grows tomoto red.
It was hard to bid farewell to Grandma and omolola. I have start missing them already. Supprisingly I even missed Akindele's jokes and teases. I haven't talked to Gabriel since the time we board the flight cause it was all his fault that we are living so soon. He have been begging me to talk to him but I just shrug it off and ignore him.
Please wifey please forgive me he says pulling his ear giving me puppy eyes. Arrrg who wouldn't fall for such cuteness. You are so cute, I say to him while squeezing his cheeks. No I am not cute I am handsome, he argues. No you are cute. No I am not he whines. Yes you are. I say sticking my thong at him.

Take care
