Chapter 1: a second chance
"Ow" that was the first thing Lexa thought when she came to. The former commander immediately got up holding her head as a figure made their way to her.
"Who are you?" hissed Lexa at the stranger, but when the figure became clear, the brunette gasped.
"Lincoln?"
"Hello commander" Lincoln bowed to her.
"What are you doing here? What's going on?" Lexa was starting to lose her patience.
"Don't we all want to know that?" another voice said behind Lexa. The former commander turned around and her eyed widened at the person standing in front of her.
"Luna?" Luna smiled at her.
"It's been a while commander" Luna bowed to Lexa just like Lincoln did a few seconds ago.
"What's happening here? What are we doing here?"
"You're here to get a second chance" a new voice told them, and the three grounders went to pull out their weapons, only to find they had none.
"Who are you?" Lexa used her commander voice. Suddenly, a blurry figure appeared, making their way to the grounders. The mysterious person stopped right before the group.
"Hello, my name is Isaac and you're here to get a second chance" Isaac told them with a smile.
"You already said that, but what do you mean" Lexa asked confused.
"You get a chance to live again, with the people you love and to make the right choices" Isaac said as the grounders remembered what happened to them. Lexa died because of a bullet meant for Clarke, the beautiful sky leader, oh how Lexa wished to be with her, to have more time with her. Meanwhile, Lincoln remembered Octavia, his niron, her devasted face when Pike executed him. Beside him, Luna thought back to the conclave, how was she killed by Octavia, and how she regretted not telling Raven how she felt about her.
"Are you saying we can live again?" Lincoln wanted to be sure that this Isaac wasn't fooling them.
"That's exactly what I'm saying" The man assured him. Lexa frowned at him.
"How do we know this isn't a trap?" Lexa was itching to get back to Clarke but she needed to know that this man wasn't give them false hope.
"The only way for you know is listening to your heart, let your heart decide and you'll get there" Isaac said with a gentle smile. Lexa, Lincoln and Luna looked at each other and nodded. Lexa turned to Isaac and told him seriously.
"Take us back" Isaac smiled once more and nodded at them.
"I wish you good luck" with that Isaac lifted his hand at them, and before they had a chance to ask him what he was doing, their world went black.
