Chapter 3

"I need to tell you something after school okay?" He gave me a look that stated,'Your boyfriends gonna kill me!' I smirked and grabbed a piece of paper. I scribbled for a second or two then handed him the paper. It said,'Text me, okay?' He wrote back 'I don't even have your number.' I smiled and wrote my number. I handed him the paper. He smiled at me and gave me a thumbs up. After the bell rang everyone walked out of the classroom. Calum was waiting at the door. "Hey can I talk to you?" I sighed but didn't say anything as I turned to face him. "So why did you sit with that geek and not me? I thought you were supposed to be my girlfriend." I smirked at him,"Jealous much?" I started walking away. Calum called after me,"Plans tonight?" I just ignored him and walked to my locker. I'm really mad at him but I don't want to lose him. I'll just text him after cheer. I got my stuff together and headed to cheer. As soon as I put my bag down Kali walked up. "Hey why were you talking to that geek in German, I saw y'all passing notes," she said obviously back to her normal bitch self. "What do you care," I said rolling my eyes and walking away. I started warming up and coach Barclay called me over. "Yes coach?," I asked jogging up to her. "Well since you're the head cheerleader this year you're gonna have to see who is good at cheerleading and who is not. You will have to evaluate the other cheerleaders to see who stays and who goes. Okay?" I smiled,"Okay, thanks coach." She nodded and waved me off. After cheer was over I grabbed my bags and started walking to my car. I sifted through my purse and grabbed my keys. As soon as I was in my car and turning my music on I saw that I had a text message. 'Hey Nicole, it's the geek :)' I laughed and responded,'Oh hi nerd :)' He texted back a few seconds later ,'It's geek, get it right :)' I quickly typed,'Do you have any plans tonight?' 'No, not that I know of.' I smiled,'Well do you want to hang out?' I started my car. 'Sure :) my house? Or yours?' I thought about it for a second and texted,'Your house.' 'Okay, what time?' He texted. I thought about it 'Um, how's 5?' He texted back a minute later and said,'Okay see you at 5 then.' 'Okay' I texted back smiling. As I looked up from my phone I heard the passenger door open and heard Calum's deep and fuckin sexy voice. "What the hell? You scared me," I said looking at him. "We had plans tonight remember?" I laughed,"When did I agree to that? By the way I have plans tonight." He frowned,"With who? I thought we had plans." I shrugged,"Rain check?" He laughed,"But it's not even raining." I laughed,"You know what I mean." He sighed."Mind giving me a ride home?" I thought about it for a few seconds,"Sure,get in." He smirked and slid into the passenger seat. I turned the keys in the ignition and started up my car. Within minutes we were pulling out of the parking lot. My phone goes off and I slowly started to reach for it. Calum snatched my phone and mockingly said,"You can't text while your driving. You'll get arrested and I wouldn't see you for forever." I sighed, cursing myself for not being quick enough. Calum read the text out loud,"You got a text message from a guy named Luke? He said 'So what's our plans for tonight?" Dammit! Why? He frowned,"So your blowing me off to hang out with a guy name Luke?" I sighed but didn't say anything as we pulled up in front of his house. Before we even came to a complete stop Calum was practically jumping out of the car. He threw my phone in the passenger seat and starting walking away making sure to slam the car door. I grabbed my phone to text Luke back, 'You'll see :P.' He texted me back and said,'Okay, see you then :)'. I slipped into my house with as little sound whatsoever. Now I need to change my clothes and then I will be ready to go to Luke's house. What to wear? After about five minutes in my closet I settled on sweatpants and a plain black t-shirt. I got in my car and blasted 'Congratulations' by sleeping with sirens. As I pulled out of the driveway I saw Nick (my twin bro) pulling in. When Nick saw me he started mouthing words to me. I turned down my music and rolled down my window as he started walking towards me. He smiled,"What's up sis?" I laughed,"Nothing much, I'm just going over to a friends house." He raised his eyebrow,"What friend? I was planning on hanging out with you today." "A guy name Luke." He scrunched up his nose,"Then I'm gonna supervise this." I rolled my eyes,"Are you serious?" He smirked,"Of course I'm serious. We were supposed to hang out, remember?" Before I could argue any further he was already in the passenger seat. That sneaky little shit. I scowled at him. He flashed an innocent smile my way,"What can I say? We don't want any funny business going on. Do we?" I sighed knowing that I wouldn't win this argument no matter what I said. I turned my music back up and drove down the street. I told Nick to grab my phone and text Luke asking for his address. After getting his address we started our journey to Luke's house. Hopefully he won't mind an extra guest. I bit my lip hesitant of how Nick's going to react to Luke. In no time we were at Luke's house. Nick must have sensed my discomfort because he said,"Relax, the worst thing that could happen is that he likes me more than you." That made me laugh. "You do realize that I'm still technically dating Calum, no matter how pissed off he is." He smiled evilly,"I kind of have to tell you something..." I glanced at him nervously,"What?" He hesitated,"He likes me more bitch." I slapped his arm,"If anything you're the bitch." He laughed,"Well if I'm the bitch then you're the hoe." He gasped,"We can be the bitch and the hoe!" I chuckled,"Okay Nick whatever." We got out of the care and walked up the sidewalk to Luke's front door. Nick happily gave the door two powerful knocks. When Luke opened the door his face was pleasantly surprised about me bringing my brother along. Luke scratched the back of his head, "Um, my names Luke." he offered a hand and Nick shook it and said, "Nice to meet you Luke. I'm Nicole's new boyfriend, Nick. Luke looked puzzled and quickly looked at me then back at Nick. Nick gave him a pat on the shoulder, "I'm just kidding, I'm her brother." Luke let out a sigh of relief, "well then come on in."
