Guren's POV

As I had predicted the way to Kumamoto was definitely not easy. There were debris here and there in the road. And since I didn't know the exact location of Shinya. I had to search the entire area. And I won't be able to do that with car. Hence once I had reached Kumamoto, I hid the car somewhere safe where civilians couldn't find it. I took necessary things with me and went ahead to find Shinya so that I could bring him home to us, to me.

A day later
Since Kumamoto had a lot of uphills, it took me longer than I thought it would but once I had reached a height, it was worth it. The scenery was beautiful. The air felt fresh, like the catastrophe had never happened here. The blue sky and greenery which had taken most part of the manmade structures looked beautiful to my eyes. But my eyes quickly caught a movement in a distance. A lady in her 50 was tending to her crops. When I went closer, I could that she was short and skinny but the way she was tending to the crops showed that she knew what she was doing. As soon as she me coming, she got her gaurd up, maybe it's because of the uniform, nonetheless I had to ask her if she knows about Shinya's whereabouts. "Excuse me, I m Lt.Colonel of JIA, I have some questions I would like to ask" I asked with a loud voice as I kept some distance between us as not to scare her. "Have you seen a man in his twenties with silver hair around here?". "I haven't seen anyone around" she said with stern voice. But her expression showed that she definitely knew something. "Are you sure?" I asked again. "No, I haven't seen anyone here" she said with a higher pitch this time."Is that so. Then I'll leave you to work. Thank you" I said to the lady with a smile. I decided to leave for now. As I was leaving I could feel that lady watching me from behind. She was hiding something and I needed to find what it is. I hid myself somewhere nearby and waited till the lady was gonna leave. I followed the lady to her house which wasn't so far from the area we had met. She entered the house after placing her tools outside the door. There was window which had the view of the living room but I couldn't quite see anything from the distance so I went closer. What I saw made me lose my breath. Shinya!

No matter how far, I'll always come back to you
