Guren's POV

After reaching Shibuya, I immediately took Shinya to doctors. They did hundreds of tests and concluded that the trauma must have been too much for his brain and hence he had amnesia. During his treatment, Shinya was kept in private Hiiragi sectors. No one was allowed to meet him. After six long months of advanced treatment, Shinya had finally regained his memories but he was no longer the same person. He longer annoyed me. He would simply do his work and return to his sectors. He refused to meet anyone if it was not about work. He longer smiled like he used to.

What do I do to get you back. Back to me..

Heavy rain had hit Shibuya. As I was standing and watching the rain through my office window, Kureto came in. "Have you seen Shinya?" He asked in his monotone voice. "No" I replied without turning back. "Kureto.. what did you do to Shinya when he was being treated for his amnesia'' I turned around to look at him. "What do you mean" he asked sternly. "Why is Shinya acting so strange ever since he came back. Even though he has memories back, he refuses to meet or talk to anyone" I ask him seriously. "Hasn't he always been like that" he asks with sarcasm. I glared at him not satisfied with his answer. He sighed, "I've known Shinya longer than you have, that goofy smile he always wore was just to trick everyone. Now he must be showing his real self. If you're so worried, why don't you go ask him yourself?" He said that and left. Why can't he ever answer something properly, but he was right. It's time I talk to Shinya about everything. I go straight to his office looking for him but he isn't there. "Do you know where Shinya is?" I ask his assistant. "Shinya sama has asked me not to tell anyone about his whereabouts" his assistant says while bowing "Do you know who I am?" I asked him with a smirk "Ofcourse your Lt Colonel Ichinose Guren sama" he says still bowing, not daring to look me in the eye. "Then tell me where Shinya is" I ask him with no emotions. He doesn't say anything, contemplating whether to tell me or not. "I will be punished if I go against his orders but I am worried about Shinya sama and there's nothing I can do to help. He went to the Wall even though there's a storm going on" he said with a worried face. Wall is at the border of Shibuya. After the catastrophe, the remaining population decided to build a high and thick wall to protect us from all soughts of monsters but now that we are safe the Wall had no use and officers don't go there for patrols either , why would he go there when a storm is going on. On the way there I try to organize my thoughts so that I can have a proper conversation with him. Shinya just wait for me, everything will be alright.

I run up the stairs there and I see Shinya standing getting drenched in the rain without any cares. His silver hair flowing with the howling wind that sends shivers down the spine. He's just standing there with his eyes closed, looking so beautifull until a lightning strikes and he  opens his eyes, that striking blue eyes. A sigh escapes my lips, God took his time when he made Shinya. Speaking of, Shinya heard my lil sigh even with storm going on. He called for Byakomaru and points it towards me in a split second. Another lightening strikes, and his flowing hair and that piercing eyes. It was like the time had stopped. Another sigh escaped my lips. Shinya noticing it was me, made Byakomaru disappear. I finally move towards him not caring about the rain. "Shinya what are you doing here in this storm?" I asked a bit louder so he can hear it. "Nothing" he says, turning away from me. "Then let's go" I say going in front of him, trying to make him face me. "You should go Guren, I'll come later" he says still avoiding me. "No you are coming with me" I take his hand and pull him towards the exit. But he forcefully pushes me away "I told you to go" he says a bit louder than he should have. "I am not leaving you alone" I tell him firmly. "Why can't you just leave me alone, why do you always have to meddle in everything?" He says grabbing onto my collar. I just stand still letting him vent his anger. "Why didn't you just leave me alone when Mahiru killed me, why did you have to bring me back, suffering that filthy curse all by yourself, you should have just left me there to die. It would have been better than living for nothing. He says with anger, just spatting the words on me. "How do you know about Mahiru killing you and me bringing you back, your not supposed to remember that" I ask him with surprise. "When they treated me, to bring back my memories. All my memories came back including my death and being resurrected" he tells me letting go of my collar and looking down "But hey none of that matters now cause Mr.Guren saved the day by resurrecting everyone. Did you even ask if any one of us wanted to be resurrected"he asks sarcastically. "Shinya I just.." "yeah yeah you wanted us by your side. But then Guren you don't let anyone be near you" he says with sarcasm. "But it doesn't matter anymore, nothing does. I am tired Guren. Tired of you, Mahiru, Kureto and all the damn Hiiragi's. I'm so done with everyone" he says that while walking backwards "I am so tired Guren" he repeats while standing on the ledge "Don't bring me back this time" he says smilingly and he just falls. *Baka everything I did was for you, how can you just leave me* I run towards the ledge, towards Shinya and jump. I catch him in mid air. "I can't leave you"I tell him. We both close our eyes and splash...

Author's Note
I am sorry for a sad ending. Initially I was gonna go for a happy ending with Guren and Shinya falling in love when Shinya gets his memories back but then I thought that wouldn't be like their characters so I changed everything. I hate sad endings too but this is the only proper ending I could think of.
