He tries to look at you , even thought his eyes hurt like hell .

Rengoku : WHO ARE YOU?!? YOU'RE THE WOMAN THAT WAS SLEEPING IN THE BED??!!?! I'M SORRY IF I SCARED YOU BUT I AM SO CONFUSED RIGHT NOW AND I WAS ALSO HUNGRY SO I WAS TRYING TO FIND SOME FOOD . I DIDN'T MEAN TO SCARE YOU.

Y/n : * W-What ? Wait so he's been here since I was asleep ??? But why??? How???? I am so confused . But he looks more confused.*

You leave the pan and try to help Rengoku get up . You take his hand and blush a little . His hands were warm . He was real .

Y/n : You're not hurt aren't you ?

Rengoku : No but I hope I didn't scare you ! I didn't meant to if I did so ! But I have a question ...

Y/n : Yes ?

Rengoku : How do you know my name ? And what's this place ?

Y/n : *Oh no. He doesn't know he's a fictional caracther isn't he ? Should I tell him ? But if I don't , how can I tell him about me knowing his name or that we are 100 years in the future ?*

Y/n : Well... It's kinda complicated . I know your name because... Eh..
You are my friend ! Yeah... And ehh ... You have amnesia . Yeah ! And ehh you sometimes hallucinate strange things like battling with some sort of ehh monsters ! And ermm you have a special disease that makes you remember only about the hallucinations... Yeah !...

Y/n : * OMG I'm so bad at lying . *

Rengoku stares at you with a smile and a confused  face . He looks so cute . He then comes close to you . He stares into your eyes and you stare into his . His eyes were the most beautiful jewels you've ever seen . You start blushing .

He then remains silent for some seconds and then smiles to you .

Rengoku : Okay . Then I guess you're my friend ! You wouldn't be lying to your friend , wouldn't you ? Haha !

You calm yourself down and try to process what just happened . He still believed that oblivious lie just because you we're "his friend" . It wasn't good for him to be this gullible , especially when you live in a society you can't always relly on .

Rengoku : Also what's your name ? I probably forgot about it because of the amnesia . But it won't happen again ! And if it does , I'll hide myself into a hole forever !

Y/n : I'm y/n . I am 20 years old . I live in this apartment . My parents are in some business trips so they won't come here too soon .

Rengoku : I see ! And what if someone's breaking into your house ? A lady can't be left alone like this !

Y/n : Well I guess I would do the same thing to you when I saw you looking in the fridge...

Rengoku : Oh yeah ! But now you won't need to make this , cause I'm here ! And my job as a friend ,and as a man , is to protect you !

You get chills in the back . He's the same even in this reality . Now you understand why Rengoku is so powerful . His will to protect the others is one of the biggest ones you've ever encountered .
