The Very Beginning

Sabrina's POV

I watched him walk down 4th street with his boys. He was fine as hell, standing 6'3, chocolate colored skin that was radiant, light brown eyes, and dreads that hung half way down his back. He was the best looking one out of his crew to me and I wanted to be the lady on his arm. Every day I would make it my business to meet my bestfriend Lauren on her porch for my lunch break so I could admire him from afar. Only if I could get the nerve to approach him and not look thirsty.

"HELLO!!! EARTH TO SABRINA" Lauren yelled. Snapping me back to reality but also catching the attention of Darrin and his boys. He looked up and caught me starring at him. He let out a slight chuckle and winked at me, as if he was telling me "Baby girl I see yhu"

"Lauren really did yhu have to yell my name like that" I snapped back at her feeling so embrassed. "Yes because every day yhu come over on your lunch break yhu rush me to come sit with yhu like I don't have other things to do" she replied "Seriously what do yhu have to do that's more important than spending a little 30 minutes with your bestfriend?" I waited for her to reply because I knew there was no answer to that question.

See Lauren has been my bestie since before we could remember. Our parents were very close so we grew up together. Me and Lauren couldn't be separated. Our parents use to joke with and say we might as well have been join to the hip when were born. Oh yeah did I forget to mention we have the same birthday. Our moms were side by side pushing us out, so yhu can say she is more like my sister than anything. We took baths together, went to the same schools, partied together and fought together. A lot of girls thought they could run over us because we were smart and always had our head in somebody's book, but truth be told we were beast with our hands thanks to my dad.

But we recently graduated high school and while I stayed back here in Columbia, Lauren left and went to North Carolina to go to college and she hasn't been home since she left, so yeah I missed her and made it my business to come catch up with her every day but I also wanted a little eye candy.

"I could be doing a lot of things, such as doing my hair, cleaning my room, or studying for my test I have Friday" she snapped at me. Over the years I started falling back from the books but not Lauren she was such an overachiever. Here it was the beginning of the summer she had just finished classes and she signed up for more online classes. I don't knock her but dang take a break sometime lol.

"I'm sorry bestie. I just missed yhu so much while yhu were gone I just want to spend as much time with yhu as I can before I leave for this trip with my boss" I replied "Yeah but for some reason I have a feeling yhu come by every day the same time just so yhu can see Darrin walk by." "Omg why would yhu say that. Yhu know and I know that I don't want him." "Yeah whateva yhu been crushing on him since the 9th grade. I remember yhu use to wanna put on shorts and bikini tops and ask Mama to wash her car just so he could look at yhu." "Oh no ma'am don't even come for my neck like that. Because as I recall somebody was stuck on his brother and was right along with me begging to wash the car too." "Lol! Yeah we both were trying to show them a little something. But I can't believe after all these years Miss 32-24-36 still crushing on him." "Whateva yhu know I'm not thinking about a man right now all I want is this money. I just like admiring from afar." "Yeah and that admiring from afar ends today. Watch this." "Lauren what are yhu about to do?" "I'm going to call him and his fine as a brother over here." "Omg this is so embrassing." "Girl calm down and watch me work."

Darrin's POV

Every day since the summer started and Lauren came back home I've been seeing her best friend over here. I remember her from high she wasn't the cutest thing walking thru Dreher High School, but she had a personality to light up a whole football stadium. When Lauren left for school I would see her on occasions when she came by to check Lauren's mail, but never really paid her any mind plus she was always in her car. But now that Lauren is back I get to see how much she has changed over the years. Standing at 5'9, caramel colored skin, long hair (it was all hers too), big titties, and a nice round ass that I wouldn't mind getting my hands on. Lately I been catching her looking at me and when I look back she just blushes and puts her head down acting all innocent and shit. I can't lie that shit is kinda cute but I don't do innocence,I all about my money and fucking bitches and she looks like the relationship type. Today when we walked pass them on our way to the corner I guess Lauren caught her starring too, because she yelled her name causing her to jump. I just laughed a little and winked at her letting her know I know that was looking.

"Bruh I know yhu see how good Sabrina's looking these days" my brother Dantrell asked. "Yeah I see her fine ass over there, but better keep your eyes on Lauren cuz she looking damn good these days too I hate to snatch her up too" I replied jokingly. "Naw nigga yhu can cancel that shit yhu know she wants big daddy Trell to put this loving in her life" he responded. See Dantrell was my twin brother but we aren't  identical at all he was light skin an I was dark but the bitches loved us.

"Whateva nigga! If that's the case go holla at her then I got yo back" I teased. "Alright I will but if I go yhu go too bitch nigga." "Sounds like a bet pussy boy one sister for each brother."  But before we could walk over to them I heard someone screaming my name, turning around to see it was Lauren. "Let's go see what the ladies want" Trell said.

"What's up Lauren" I said as I walked up on her porch. "Hey Darrin" she replied. "What's up Sabrina!" "Hi Darrin" she replied in a low tone. "Girl please drop that shy shit cuz he knows damn well yhu ain't shy" Lauren butted in. "Why yhu gotta call her out like that" Trell snapped back at her. "Trell nobody was talking to yhu so how about yhu just sit back and chill" Lauren snapped back. I knew that Lauren and my brother had something going on and I knew how her mouth was so I kinda saw that one coming. "Thanks Trell, but I can speak for myself. And Lauren lay off him, he was just taking up for his sister in law lol" Sabrina said jokingly. "Girl whateva yhu ain't his sister in law cuz we ain't together according to him" Lauren spat back. I could tell she was hurt by it, but she wasn't ready for the life we live that's why my brother turned her down. "Or maybe yhu are talking about thru his brother" she added. I saw Sabrina's gave turn completely red from embarrassment. From that moment I knew I had to make her mine.
