A Hood Love Affair

Chapter 6

Sabrina's POV
Two Months Later

The last two months have been crazy as ever. I had to move to the other side of town because Darrin wouldn't stop popping up at my house causing scenes much like the one he start at Cincere's birthday party. I was trying to keep my business afloat I was glad Darrin had more sense than to come to the one place my dad had ties to. But that didn't stop the hood from talking and people from coming to my store I was happy for that. The only problem I seem to be running into is people stealing but the bitches didn't know I was on their ass. Then I had to keep my dad from killing Darrin he had already cut off their supply and for that Dantrell was shitting bricks when my dad told him their business contract had been revoked. Trell told me he wasn't upset with me but his dumb ass brother because he warned him too many times. Other than that life was great me and Lauren saw each other when she didn't have school and the shop was closed which was every Tuesday and Thursday. She had invited me to another party her friend Felicia was throwing. It's close to our birthday so it was no biggie we normally partied from the beginning to the end of June anyway. For some.reason since she gave me the invite I've been wondering if Cincere will be there.

"Sabrina! Yhu know sometimes I really wonder what goes on in that head of yours" Lauren spat. "I wonder the same thing about yhu. But what's up girl" I asked her. "What are yhu wearing to this party because yhu need to be getting dress." Lauren was already dressed n a nice tight fitted leporard print dress with a pair of black red bottoms and the clutch to match. I didn't know what I wearing but I had to be fierce in case I saw Cincere.

"I'm going to get dress now I'll be back in 20." I yelled to Lauren as I ran up the steps. "Yhu only got 20 mins too or I'm leaving without yhu!" She yelled back to me. Good thing I had properly groomed myself before she called and said she was pulling in my driveway. I went to my walk in closet and look over the very big variety of clothes I had. I decided to keep it nice and simple but sexy at the same time. I pulled out a pair of my high waisted shorts with a nice white and nude crop top with my nude thigh-hi boots (red bottoms.of course) I set it off with gold jewelry and a nude MK over the shoulder bag. I put on my finishing touches with my MAC lip gloss I glanced down at the time and saw I had five minutes left that was record breaking time for me. I blew myself a kiss in the mirror and made my way downstairs to a very beautiful Cincere standing in the middle of my living room with a bouquet of peach roses which were my favorite.

Cincere's POV

As I watched her long legs that were covered by white boots make their way down the stairs my mouth dropped. She was even more beautiful than I remembered. She looked like she was shocked to see me standing here instead of her best friend Lauren. Since Lauren and my sister have been getting close because if school I've been asking more and more about Sabrina. She came up with the idea of inviting her to a party since they always partied the whole month of their birthday. Of course I went along with it because a nigga like me doesn't stop until he gets what he wants.

"Why thank yhu are these for me?" She asked taking the flowers from my hand. "Um yeah Lauren told me they were your favorite." I replied "Speaking of Lauren where did she go?" She asked looking confused "Well Lauren was only here to distract you. This was all a plan so that I could take yhu out and have a little fun." "Omg! Yhu all are something else. Yhu didn't have to set me yhu could have just asked me out." "I thought about that but Lauren told me yhu have been going thru a lot especially with your ex so I decided to surprise yhu." "Aww that was very nice of yhu I really appreciate that, so what's on the agenda for us to do this evening?" "We're going to celebrate and party until yhu tell me I have made yhu the happiness woman in the building."
