too much for one girl

Chapter 2

I was in school listening to the teacher.  I was taking notes and doing my assignment. English isn’t my favorite or best subject. But I’m passing. I got done with my work when the bell rang.

“If you didn’t finish you have homework.”Ms. White said. You heard groans from all over.

“Also come up to the front and look at who you are in a groupw with for the next couple of weeks.”She said.

I waslked up and I was in a group with 2 boys. Wait 2 boys?!?!?!? 2 livng oys who walk and breathe. Omg! Alexander Remy and Tyrone Weezer aka T-Man. (Don’t ask)

“Whattup Camryne.” Alexander came up to me. Wow he knows my name?!?!!?

“H-Hey.” I said. He grabbed my books.

“Let me get these for you. Who’s class do you have next?” He asked smiling.

Alexander is tall, caramel, slim, and such a gentleman. He has waves, white teeth, and loves Adidas. You will never see him without anything on Adidas. Never!! Today he has on his whole Adidas outfit. He was just so different. Now Tyrone is slightly taller than Alexander. He has a BODY, waves and was just Tyrone. I mean he is a player and has been with almost every girl in this school. SMH!

“I got Algebra 2.” I said.

“You do?” he asked.

“I never noticed you.” He said honestly. Oh yeah he’s also honest.

“I sit in the back. Alone.” I said.

“Well not today. I’m sitting with you.” He said. I just stopped walking. I was shocked. Did he just say he was sitting with me?

“Yes I’m sitting with you. Is that a problem?” He asked with puppy dog eyes.

“Nope.” I said.                     

We walked into the classroom. I went and sat in the back. He came and sat next to me. Wow! He wasn’t playing. Destiny and Shania came in and their eyes kept going back and forth between me and Alex. I just rolled my eyes.

At lunch time of course Destiny had to bring up the whole Alex sitting with me and walking me to my class thing.

“What?!?!? Wait which Alex?” Alicia asked.

“Alexander Remy” Shania said.

“OOOOOO im telling!”carene said.

“Telling who?” I asked.

“Sam!” She said. It was more of a squeal. Carene has this voice where it can get high sometimes.

“Girl Sam aint my boyfriend….he is just a friend.” I said. Then I took a bite out my sandwich.

“Ha. That’s why he coming over…and yo little boyfriend” Liyah said.

I turned around and just as she said they were both headed my way. And Tyrone.    Like really?

“aww man.” I whispered.

Sam sat across from me and alex and tyrone sat on either sides of me.

“Heyy cam” Sam said smiling.

“Wassup Cam” Alex said.

“heyy ma.” Tyrone said.

“NO hi to thee rest of us?” Jazmine said.

They all started laughing.

“Wassup” the boys said.

Next thing I know Sam gave me my bag n I was happy. Then Alicia, Destiny, Carene, Liyah, and Jazmines boyfriend came and sat by them. They lucky this table was long and not a circle table.

Alicia goes with Kevin. Destiny goes with Doug, Carene goes with Julian, Liyah goes with Aaron and Jazmine goes with James.

I’m the one without the boyfriend.

“So I think you fiiinneee.” Tyron said out the blue. I just turned my head.

“Thank you.” I said blushing.

“I think you’re cute.” Sam said.

“I think you’re beautiful.” Alex said.

“Thank you.” I was blushing extra hard. They actually think im cute. All 3 of them. But why didn’t they tell me before?

Alicia asked the question I was thinking, “Why didn’t yawl tell her before?”

“I don’t know.” They all said.

I just looked down. Why can’t I go hide?

“But too bad she got a boyfriend…” Tyron said.

“No she don’t” Carene loud mouth said.

I snapped my head up at her and straight faced her. Their eyes got big.

“Really?”  Alex asked me.

“Yeah.” I said.

“Dats Wassup” Tyrone said.

“mmmm hmmm” I said.

It’s the end of the day and I’m waiting outside with Liyah and them. Of course they not paying me no attention. Then I feel somebody put they arm over my shoulder. I look up and its Tyrone. He just looked all casual.

“Wassup?” He said.

“Nun much just chillin here wbu?” I asked.

“Just wondering if you wanted to go to the movies with me on Friday.” He said.

“Don’t you have a girlfriend? Go to the movies with her.” I said.

“Nope we broke up.” He said. We started walking to the store.

“oh.”I said.

“Yeah so you want to go?” He asked.

“Sure” I said.

“Iight text me.” He said. Then grabbed my phone and I guess he put his number in there. I bought me a chocolate cupcake and some icecream. Then we walked back across the street to the school. They were still there but the boys where gone. Carene ran up to me and slapped my arm.

“Ow..what was that for?” I asked as I rubbed my arms.

“You left without telling us where you was going.” She said.

“She was good. She was with me.” Tyrone said. His arm was still around my shoulder. She gave him a stank look. She doesn’t like Tyrone. He’s a player.

“I don’t care who you was with.”She said. Oh no she was going into overprotective mode.  You see I have two older brothers and another big sister but they live down in Columbus. So my friends act like my older siblings when my sister and her husband aren’t around.

“Girl, I’m cool. Just chill.” I said.

She just walked away. I turned to Tyrone. “Imma go.” I said.

“Ok.” He said. Then pulled me into a hug.

He walked off and I stood by my friends.

“You know we was just worried bout you.” Destiny said.

“I knowbut u could of just called me or text me you know. And yawl didn’t come look for me.” I said.

“Oh yeah.” Jazmine said.

“I told them to lets go look for you but they said naw.” Liyah said.

Smh. “Okay.” I said sarcastically.

We were all waitng on Alicias mom to come. Were going to her house today.
