The Very First Meeting

*𝘖𝘩 𝘎𝘰𝘥.....𝘐'𝘮 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘴. 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦. 𝘔𝘰𝘮 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘧𝘦𝘸 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴.....𝘐 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵..*

Spaceship AI Voice:

"Nine crewmates on board."

Pink:

*𝘖𝘩! 𝘈 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦! 𝘊𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦.*

I look around the waiting room and see a very tall figure sit next to me.

From what I can see, they've got very tired-looking eyes and they look a little...exhausted?

They're quite handsome and seem very intimidating

I stare silently at them. Their eyes seem so, so...mesmerizing.

Black: "Um...Is everything okay?"

Pink: "I-I'm sorry for staring at you! I was a little concerned because You seem exhausted, that's all.."

Black: "Ah, my eyes...Yeah, don't worry about it. They've looked like that ever since I was little."

Pink: "It's not like a disease is it?"

Black: "Well-"

Pink: "Oh Gosh, I'm sorry! That's such a stupid question. I'll just shut up! I apologize"

Black: "Pfff-Hahaha! You know, you seem like a first-year."

Pink: "Pardon?"

Black: "Oh, uhh You know, every two years the government chooses people to go to space. So, I'm assuming it's your first year in space?"

Pink: "Yeah, you're right. I'm just really nervous. I hope I don't get kicked out..."

Black: "Don't worry about it Just play it cool & calm."

Pink: "And I'm assuming you're not a first-year? You seem calm about this whole thing."

Black: "Oh no, I am a first year. It's just that my parents decided it'd be better if I took the test so I would know how things work around here. My dad also trained me. I have absolutely nothing to worry about."

Pink: "Oh...That's nice."

Black: "Do you want to stick together for a while when we start? I could show you how to do some of the tasks."

Pink: "Oh really? Yes, please. I would appreciate it! I'd be terrified walking around in the ship all alone. Especially if the power runs out."

Black: "Don't worry we'll help each other out."

Pink:"um.....Black?"

Black: "What's up?"

Pink:"i-is it t-true....that..there's a.......k-killer on b-board.....? My mom t-told me some stories about t-them..."

Black: "Oh....um yeah. They're supposedly the so-called "imposter" that's disguised as one of us. I've heard of them. But don't worry about them. As long as the two of us stick together and don't run into the imposter, we'll be fine. All we need to do is finish our tasks."

Pink: "Ok then. It's better if we stick together."

Black: "Yeah..."

Spaceship AI Voice:

"Ten crewmates on board. Preparing launch....."

Black: "Come on, we need to get ready. Grab my hand."

As I grab Black's hand, I take a deep breath as I prepare for what I hope is a safe & normal space trip.
