As you wake up, you immediately stretch out of bed to find yourself in the hospital wing. Mandam Pompfrey comes out relieved to see you awake. "Hey l/n, how are you feeling?" She asks. "I'm feeling okay, but where's Draco?" You ask confused. "O-oh I- um, he left this for you." She says handing you a letter. As you reach up for it you feel the pain in your arms remembering everything as tears flood your eyes. You swiftly grab the letter as you begin to read. 'My darling love, I know we didn't have many moments to share as soulmates, but know that I will always love you no matter what happens. Fall in love with someone else, cherish life, and for once enjoy it. Though I might not be able to share it with you, I will surely be watching over you as I attend to duties. Promise me you will stay out of this. I love you my princess. - D.M
Your eyes widen as you cannot process the words you feel in your heart. "I-I promise to make you happy Draco." You says beginning to sob as you let out a bloodcurdling scream which alerts many. As Blaise comes rushing in he sees you panicking as you throw the letter on the ground ripping the bandages off of your arms, hyperventilating, numb. What were you going to do without him? You needed to find him, and you needed to do it now...
