Your POV:
Even though there weren't many of classes since it's the first day, the school wasn't any less tiring. Most of the classes were just introductory classes. They either just consisted of some games to meet each other and break the ice, choose class representative or get the books needed for this school year. You look through the window as you pack your bags- the birds were chirping, flying free out in the nature, the wind looked like it was dancing through the pink blossoms that decorated the school yard. You had one more class but before that there was a half an hour long break. Sitting in the classroom would be boring. *at least I can go for a walk to stretch my legs*- you thought to yourself, because, your body was stiff from just sitting and doing nothing. You hyped yourself up because it's a perfect time to make friends, however, by the time you decided what to do everyone already left the classroom. You let out a depressing sigh, *guess I'll be alone on today's break* you thought to yourself as you take your favorite novel from your bag and sit back on your chair. Going around the school ground would be pointless since even though you're familiar with the territory, most of the places are still new. You visited the inside of the school so the backyard isn't the most known place in your head and the school is pretty big. You open the window and start to read your book while listening the song of birds from the outside. It was a quite relaxing ambient taking in mind how many people are outside and around you. The world always seems so chaotic, moving at a high speed and never knowing how to hit breaks, that's why moments like these feel like valuable treasures. Something that body, heart and soul sometimes require in order to go on. You felt like you were one with nature, while being immersed as the reader of the book. That was all calming until a shadow covered the sunlight that was coming from the window. When you looked up to see, somehow not to your surprise, it was the tall dark haired boy from this morning. He was standing directly in the way of the sun and above you, looking at what you're reading. His eyes were wide, and the moment you were about to ask if he's okay he pulled up a chair and started talking.Kuroo's POV:
Geez where is that Kenma, i really wanted to play some volleyball over the break with himself. Sure, there's training after school hours but still, volleyball is fun so why not just play more on break- nothing better to do anyway. Kuroo gets to the classroom of 1-A while a grin of satisfaction on his face due to his thoughts about playing volleyball. As he was about to knock though, he saw that the doors are left fully opened. He peaked through and he wanted to scream Kenmas name because he saw a shadow of a person inside, and knowing his best friend, it was probably him. However, to his surprise, it wasn't. He was dumbfounded for a moment when he saw that the shadow belonged to the person he ran into this morning. Y/N was looking so peaceful, reading her book while it felt like the wind was gently stroking her hair. It make Kuroo blush, and for a moment, it felt as if the whole world stopped. He immersed himself in that moment, it felt like he could watch it for hours, even days. He decided to let himself in. He walked towards Y/N seat, but he didn't know how to exactly approach. She seemed like a pretty mysterious person. It made him wonder what the book she's reading is on about, but also the things that she might like. *So how do I come close without looking creepy or scaring her* is the thought that kept going through his mind. Y/N looked like she's not in this world anymore, but somewhere else entirely. *Oh I know!* suddenly an idea crossed Kuroo's mind. He walked up to the table and then to the side where the window is. He leaned closer to
Y/N than the window though, well if he wanted to know what you were reading, he had to. His eyes widened when he saw that you're reading his favorite book- The book of the dust. At that exact moment Y/N eyes and Kuroo's collided. Her eyes widened as our eyes met. I grab a chair and sit across of her. "Didn't know you're into books, kitten" I say playfully. Kitten is a cute nickname, at least I think so. She still looked dumbfounded, however, she suddenly closed her book and looked through the window, avoiding all eye contact. "Geez, that's cold kitten. No need to ignore me" I say as I cross my arms. "I thought I told you not to call me kitten? Was I not clear? What are you doing here anyways? I thought mister popular would be busy over breaks". No matter how cruel those words sounded, she was blushing. "Well, I came here to find Kenma. Wanted to make him play volleyball with me but I guess he ran away?" I say as I shrug my shoulders and let out a depressing sigh. "What about yo-?". As I open my eyes, they met here again. Something is aid must have caught her attention because now her eyes were widely open, looking at mine. "You play volleyball?" Her voice was shaky. I couldn't tell if it was from excitement or sadness. "W-well yeah. I'm the captain of the Nekoma High volleyball team after all" I say as I rub the back of my head- "Do you want to play with me and Kenma sometimes? Bring alone over breaks is boring anyways". She was just looking down, looking like she was about to start crying. As I was about to ask her if she's okay she stopped me. "I'm fine, sorry. Just got a bit distracted. Thank you for the invitation but I don't really like volleyball. However, if you'll excuse me, I have to go now" is what she said as she left the classroom. Her mouth was saying one thing, however, her eyes were telling a completely different story.
