I walked out of the manager's office and saw that pretty cashier again, talking to another cashier outside. "Must be on break." I thought. I decided to walk outside for a minute as well. I needed a cigarette anyway. I opened the door and leaned against the wall before lighting a cigarette in my mouth with my zippo lighter. "How'd your talk with the manager go? You didn't get fired did ya?" Gracie asked me. I looked over at her. Huh, well fuck me, she's ACTUALLY talking to me. "Uh, no. And um... It was fine, but Mr. Cawthon did mention we might get shut down." I replied. "WHAT?! Why?" The second cashier asked. "Fuckin' FBI blokes are sniffin' around at shit that went down over 20 years ago." I replied. The two cashiers looked down, eyes filled with worry. I could tell this job meant a lot to them. Of course, I couldn't relate considering I work the nightshift.

I offered to buy them lunch, they accepted and thanked me. I ushered them into my car. "Shotgun!" Gracie called, dashing to the front passenger seat. I chuckled. The other girl groaned and got in the backseat. "TO MCDONALD'S!" Gracie said, pointing ahead. I chuckled again, JESUS, she's fuckin' hot. I pulled out of the parking lot and drove to the closest McDonald's and ordered the food they asked for. We ate as we made our way back to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

I looked in my rearview at the girl in the backseat. "So what's your name?" I asked. "I'm Liz." She replied. "And thanks for the food, Ty." She continued. "Wait. How did you know my-"

"Every one who watched ABC 13 this morning knows."

"I WAS ON THE NEWS?"

"Yeah, something about finding a dead kid in the restaurant last night, is that true?"

I put my free hand over my eye and where the other USED to be. "Yeah it's in the cameras. Fucking hell." I moaned.

Liz took out her phone and played the video of it. I only heard the audio. "And um... Oh gosh, another thing about the family restaurant: Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. It's in danger of shutting down again after a security night watch, Ty Conn, found a child's corpse inside of one of the animatronic characters. The person who was responsible for the childrens' murder was found and charged but never revealed the locations of the bodies, claiming he himself didn't know the location of the carcasses." The news reporter recorded.

I groaned, "Ughhhhh."
"Thought I was done with this when my dad died..." I whispered. "I'm sorry to hear that." Grace said. I nodded and kept driving. I started to get the impression that I liked her.
