Once the kingdom army arrives at the imperial palace, Rodrigue and Dimitri break away from the kingdom army to find Byleth while their allies deal with the imperial army. During the battle, Petra and Ashe loot the chests. Rodrigue and Dimitri find Byleth on the bed in the chamber, but Myson suddenly appears and teleports her slumbering body to the throne room, where he places her on a bed with fur hanging off the sides. They make their way to the throne room, where Dimitri kills him and helps his allies kill the rest of the enemies, after which he defeats Edelgard after Lambert tosses Areadbhar over to him. She threw her dagger into his shoulder and he responded by piercing her with his father's hero's relic and pulling it out, killing her. Dimitri then walked down to the door with his allies, only to stop in his tracks when he hears a voice and turns around to look at the owner of the voice. "Dimitri?", the voice asked. He couldn't believe his eyes. As Byleth was running down the stairs towards him, her dress changed from red with the yellow belt to blue with a white belt. He ran over to her and spun her around a few times when she reached him. They then finally shared a passionate moment in front of their allies. They were crowned king and queen of the kingdom before Dimitri and Byleth married in House Blaiddyd the next day. The end.
