Chapter 9~ Bully Beatdown

~Zane's P.O.V.~

Woah- the Shadow Knights wanted to talk to me! Me! Maybe they'll finally ask me to be apart of they're group! Keep calm...keep it chill...yeah...cool...

"Ey' nerd, did you even hear a word I said?" Gene asked snapping his finger in front of my face.

Dang it! I already messed it up- Oh! Maybe if I show I don't care they'll think thats cool!

"Uh, no. Why? Was I supposed to?" I said as casual as I could. Let's just say it wasn't really as casual as I hoped.

Gene all of a sudden grunted and pushed me against the locker. I just stood there blankly.
"You idiot! Why can't you do anything right?" He pushed my chest up against the locker and his fist came close to my face but was held back, by Sasha.

"Gene! You can't go that far! At least, not yet! Jeez!" Sasha said holding Gene's fist back.

Gene let out another goan, and grabbed the cuff of my uniform. "Meet me on the rooftop after school." He then dropped me but I landed on my feet and he walked away with Sasha and Zenix.

I felt my eyes light up. Gene pretty much said he wants to hang out! This might be the time! I held my books to my chest and couldn't stop smiling. They're so coool!

~Vylad's P.O.V~

I had seen and heard everything from the distance. Zane has to be home on time anyways or else he'll get in trouble and he knows that so there's no way he could possibly follow those jerks.

I took the chance of getting yelled at by Zane for talking to him during school and walked up to him. "Are you okay?" I asked holding back a little.

Suddenly his happy look turned to annoyance.
"Uh, yeah. I'm fine. Why are you talking to me?" He said.

"Jeez, I just wanted to check on you. They seemed kind of rough and-"

"Well I don't need to be 'checked up on'! They weren't rough at all! Stop thinking I'm so weak- heck, im probably way stronger than you idiots think!" He said before storming off to his next class.

I know your strong, or else you would be dead right now... I thought as tears sprung in my eyes.

I looked at the clock. 2 minutes until the bell!? And just like that I rushed off to my next class.

~Time skip to the last bell ringing~

~Garroth's P.O.V.~

I was let out of class early, and was waiting at the fountain for Laurence- we had planned on going to the park after school.

But first I had to make sure my baby brother's would be on their way home. I pulled out my phone and started texting them.
