"SHIT"
I missed all my morning classes and now it was lunch time. My best friend Kayden and I decided we were gonna go to the cafeteria for the first time in forever since I forgot to bring the usual junk food. When we got there got our food and sat down.
"Bitch why weren't you in class this morning, I thought you got sick and was worried, do you not check your phone or something?!" That's when I realized I left my phone in my locker this morning when I went and got my bag. "I forgot it in my locker this morning I just realized. also, I wasn't in class because I ran into this guy this morning. Like literally ran into him on my way to class."
"You're not in class because you're chatting it up with probably some hunk of a man and you are telling me like it's some casual thing. like bitch- I need details." I laughed at how weird my best friend could be. If it wasn't for the fact he was gay I would have married him by now. But sadly the world isn't nice enough, and give me a straight soulmate.
"I'll tell you the whole story when I get back, I gotta go get my phone I'm sure my parents or Jarrod has tried to call me." He gives me that look like 'ok, but if you don't tell me ill kill you ass' I laugh a nervous laugh because I know he will he's a bad bish.
It's not like he was gonna make me stay, after I mentioned Jarrod I was free game. Kayden has had a crush on my brother since, forever. He liked him before he even knew me and I've known that little faget for years. Probably too long his habits are rubbing off on me.
As I was walking to my locker I was walking on the yellow lines that are in the hallways. Yellow and black are our school colors. I've been going to this school since I was five. When I was younger we would have to walk on the yellow lines.
*Flashback*
'Stay on the yellow line while we go to lunch kids" Mrs. Donavan repeated a third time. I know we're small and not as smart but telling us something repeatedly is just plain annoying. I turn around and look at Kayden who is walking with his head down watching his feet move from box to box.
Much like me every time she repeated those same words, he would roll his eyes look at me, and laugh, and then put his head back down. I started singing the song I and him sang when we had to this. "follow the yellow brick road, follow the yellow brick road, you'll know where to go if you follow the yellow brick road."
It started as just me and Kayden singing it but it was catching and so the whole class would sing it. Even the teacher was now singing it. We did this all the way till we go to the lunchroom. I and Kayden sat down and instantly laughed at our song and silliness
*End of flashback*
I guess while I was thinking back to the old days I had started singing the song again cause all of a sudden I heard it ringing in my head through my voice. While I was singing I felt like I was being watched but it must just be me and my paranoia. I got to my locker, did my combo, and grabbed my phone. When I checked it, it was as expected, Jarrod had tried to call his dear little sister. I shut my locker and almost shit my pants. Right in front of me is Mr. King himself.
