Everything went black but...I am still alive?
My were still closed but I could hear the sounds of a regular city; beeping cars, people walking and everything. I suddenly start to feel something wet. I opened my eyes to find myself laying down on a puddle on the ground, receiving weird looks from people as they pass by.
I quickly got up and assured people that I was ok and didn't have a problem with me. It took a few minutes for me to realize that the city was oddly familiar.
"Of course it's Seoul!" I said, putting my hands on my waist. It looked pretty much the same but a few things were a bit different but it pretty much looked the same. I had so many questions like, "how did I end up here?" or "how am I alive?"
I just sighed and walked home. I guess it's not my time to leave Earth yet.
Just as things couldn't get more confusing, as I went up to my door, there was a sign saying "For Sale" and I stared at it for a good 5 minutes.
"FOR SALE? SINCE WHEN?" I looked at it in shock. I don't remember putting it up for sale.
I scoffed and ripped off the sign. "For Sale my ass"
I entered my house but it was empty. My stuff wasn't there and that's when I was really done.
"Oh, now they are really serious huh?? I swear I will sue whoever sold it,"
I kept walking around and it wasn't my home anymore. I couldn't recognize anything and it was all empty that I could hear the echoes of my little steps as I walked around. There is basically no point in staying here anymore.
I sighed as I left my home, entering the busy streets of Seoul. The loud chatters and the bright lights of the building filled up the night though I felt very empty. I kept wandering around with no home, no friends, no nothing and it hit hard. As I roamed the sidewalks, my eye caught my favorite cafe, well at least the cafe is still open. I entered and immediately the warm atmosphere and the smell of deserts, as well as the warm drinks, lifted my spirits a little bit. A few minutes later, a waitress approached me, she gave me a table to sit in and asked if I wanted anything.
"Miss, do you want anything for now?"
"Oh, um I'll get a regular coffee and also a blueberry muffin please."
"Alright! We'll have it ready soon."
I sat in my chair, so many questions circulating my head and even if I tried to ignore it, I knew something was off. If I survived, why wasn't I in a hospital or something? Someone must've seen me, and if they did, why put me in the middle of the streets and even sell my house?? If this was one of Erin's plans, I swear to god she's so dead...Having my friends against go me and them seeing me as their enemy is already enough. What if-
Suddenly a girl came and bursts the doors open, causing a loud sound making me flinch. The manager of the cafe started to yell at the girl.
"HEY! Please don't be so aggressive, that was unnecessary!"
The girl didn't seem to care, ignoring the manager and taking a seat at a table next to me. Wow, she seemed..cool?I scooted a little closer to her, peaking and taking little glances. She gave off a cool vibe. She wore a leather jacket with a black skirt, chains hanging on the side. The girl also had medium-length hair with a streak of red.
It didn't take a while for her to notice me.
"Do you need anything?" She laughed. I sat in the other chair at her table.
"Oh nothing haha, you just seemed very cool!" I gave a nervous smile.
"I know I'm cool!" The girl flipped her hair while looking back at her phone.
It suddenly started to get awkward and I just played with my fingers as she kept scrolling through social media (I assume) on her phone. It kept getting silent until the waitress came over.
"Here's your coffee and your blueberry muffin! Hope you enjoy it!"
"Oh thank you!" I smiled, taking a sip of my coffee. You know what, it's getting boring, I have to break the silence.
"Sooooo aha- What's your name?" I asked.
The girl looked up, "Oh my name is Serena Park, my Korean name is Park Sooyoung.""Oh, so are you from Korea, or do you come from a foreign area?" I took another sip of my coffee.
"Well, I was born in Michigan and then moved to Korea when I was 12." She said, taking MY blueberry muffin and EATING IT!
"H-Hey! That was mines!" I glared at her.
She looked at her hand, holding the muffin, and looked back at me. "Oop- Sorry, I was just really hungry"
I sighed and shrugged it over. I snatched the blueberry muffin and took a few bites while randomly looking at other places inside the cafe.
Serena then placed her phone on the table and started point at me, squinting her eyes.It was pretty awkward. I looked at her in confusion. "What's wrong?"
"You know, you look oddly familiar.....it's like I've seen you on news before." Serena continued pointing at me.
