Look's like the sun's shining on us

Boy, time sure does fly fast when you're on the X factor. By far, our group has managed to survive the crucial voting stage, in the middle of the live shows we were almost eliminated due to the lack of voting.

However, the very next show we had somehow managed to hit the top and were at number one. I don't know how, but I'm not complaining, nor am I questioning it.

We are getting into the semi finals which are this week, and I can't lie and say that I'm not freaking out because I totally am. Simon had called us in to the studio to discuss how this would all go down. So that's where the girls and I are headed now.

I quickly threw on a pair of light wash skinny jeans from Topshop, my favourite tweety bird socks, a white Peter Pan collared contrast claret red long sleeve knit pullover, my brown leather jacket and slipped into my caramel coloured uggs.

With a final nod of approval I was out the door and down to the lobby. The girls were already standing down there, Alexis smiled and waved when she saw me.

I walked up to them "Hey guys"

"Princess is finally up" smirked Vanessa, nudging my shoulder with hers.

"Hey, hey, I needed my beauty sleep" I replied, giggling.

"Well now that you're all beautified, let's head to the studio shall we?" Offered Zoey, nodding her head towards the exit.

"Hey, why did Simon want us there so early?" Asked Skylar, as we walked outside. "I dunno, he said something about discussing this week's performance" shrugged Alexis, as she trotted along beside me.

The walk there was hardly 10 minutes, we reached there soon and made our way up elevator and into the lounge where Simon had asked to meet us.

The room looked stunning, I'd never been in this room before. The walls were painted orange, green and yellow, there were beautiful fall decorations hanging on the walls.

Although it was towards the end of November the fall leaf wraths and pinecone decorations still managed to look nice. Then there was a huge brown 'L' shaped couch in the middle of the room with a wide screen plasma tv in front of it. To the tv's left, there was a bar with black wooden cabinets and counters.

I plopped myself down on the huge 'L' shaped couch and out my feet up.

"You're getting comfy" Alexis snickered, taking a seat beside me.

"Why not, who knows how long this meeting with Simon will be for" I replied, casually.

"Hopefully not 6 hours like the last meeting" huffed Zoey, "I need time to get ready, Jace is taking me out tonight" she smiled, proudly.

Jace was Zoey's current boyfriend and she's been with him since the summer and I was almost certain that she loved him. I'd only met Jace a couple times, but he seemed like a sweet boy, just as long as he took care of Zoey and treated her right, we'd have no problem.

A giggle came out of Skylar, who was curled up in the corner of her the couch smiling like an idiot into her phone screen.

"What's got you all happy, missy?" Questioned Vanessa, eagerly jumping over to where the browned haired girl was seated.

"Niall texted me" she said, hiding her face in the pillow.

"Ouu, what'd he say?" Chimed Alexis, crawling over to where the rest of the girls were.

I walked over to where they were, and sat down on Zoey's lap. I smiled down at her and she gave me a toothy smile, I laughed.

"Lover boy says he misses her" Vanessa read out loud, grinning.
