Chapter 6

Boredom. Pure boredom is what I felt right now. Since we came back from Nando's, I have been sitting on the hotel bed, in my hotel room all alone. Vanessa and the girls still hadn't came back from their triple date night, I was starting to feel a bit lonely.

I wondered what Skylar was doing. Last time I checked in with her, she was having a kip. Though, that was over an hour ago. She had to be awake by now. Just then, my phone dinged.

From: Princess Sky

Get in your jammies and come round, we're going to have a movie night :D !! XX

Yay, something to do. I quickly changed into my soft blue Winnie The Pooh pyjama pants and a black shirt. Cute yet cosy. Pulling my phone, I sent a quick reply back to Skylar.

Be there in two.xx

Skipping my way over to the bathroom, I glanced into the mirror to check if I looked decent. After my once over, I giddily made my way over to Skylar's room.

I knocked on the door, and out popped Skylar's face.

"Hiya!" She smiled, pulling me for a hug.

"Hola" I wrapped my arms around her, giving her a tight squeeze.

Skylar was a cuddly little being, hugging her was like hugging your teddy bear.

"Since it's just us, I thought we would have a fun movie night" she smiled, leading me over to the bed.

"I'm totally feeling it," I laughed, "it hasn't been like this since...." I trailed off, trying to recall when the last time Sky and I had a movie.

"A long time, we can say" she said, a faint smile appearing on her face.

"So, you and Niall?" I began, wiggling my eyebrows. She blushed, and turned to look away.

"Aww," I cooed, "so is there something going on?"

"To be honest, I've got no idea" she frowned, "I mean there are times when we text and he's flirty, but in person he's much more....."

"Shy?"

Skylar sighed, shaking her head.

"Hey, don't worry about it" I soothed, pulling her in close "give the lad some time"

She nodded her head, sniffling.

"Aw don't cry love"

"I'm not crying, my eyes are just sweating" she tried playing it cool (haha see what I did there, guys? (; )

"Sky, I'm not dumb" I rolled my eyes, playfully "what's wrong?" She wiped her tears and sat up straight.

"It's just, I think I'm really starting to like him" Skylar admitted, her voice muffled.

"That's absolutely normal, and not a bad thing" I said.

"Yeah, but it's scaring me" she croaked, "I've never felt this way about anyone"

I felt bad that she was this scared of her feelings, but this wasn't anything out of the ordinary. People fancy other people all the time. Some people just take it differently than others. She needed someone to be there for her, and as her best friend I take full responsibility.

"Tell you what," I said, "since it's just you and I tonight, why don't we get started on a film and we'll have a serious chat about this later ?"

Just then there was a knock at the door. "Coming!" I called, running to answer the door.

I opened the door, to reveal none other than Niall and Harry standing at the door frame.

"Hello!" The boys grinned,
