Sophie and Xander Book 2

The honey moon

Sophie and Xander arrived at the airport in her father's helicopter. They boarded the private plane and buckled in. The plane took off and they were finally able to take a deep breath happy that they were finally married.They enjoyed mixed berry sangrias, fresh berry and almond tarts, and tilapia tacos during the flight.
3 hours later the plane landed and they transferred to a private yacht that would take them to the secluded island. They both fell asleep in the cabin and 5 hours later they were awoken by the captain of the yacht stating that they had arrived. They got off the yacht and were ushered to a private cottage. Surrounded by coconut trees and hibiscus plants. There was a wonderful floral scent wafting around them.
Their bags had been placed inside already and there were fresh towels in the bathroom. Sophie took a quick shower and changed in to her red lingerie and headed into the bedroom where Xander was waiting.
They spent intimate time together as husband and wife. then they both fell asleep.
They both awoke to the sound of exotic birds singing and the sun shining. they crawled out of bed and took a shower. Sophie dressed in khaki shorts and a coral tank top. Xander dressed in khaki shorts as well and a light blue shirt. They went to the kitchen and found that the fridge and cupboards were empty and that they had a room service menu by the phone. They ordered croissant breakfast casserole, bacon breakfast cups, and coffee and then devoured the delicious smelling food as soon as it arrived. They grabbed their wallets and credit cards and locked up the cottage and went for a stroll. They walked to where the yacht was docked and asked where they could purchase food and go shopping. They climbed aboard the yacht and were taken to a larger island with markets and places to buy food. They went to the markets first. They bought some fresh vegetables and some meat. along with some canned goods and some pastries.
   Then they went and bought some souvenirs. Xander bought her a locally made pearl necklace, some homemade dresses, sandals, purses, blankets, coffee mugs, coffee, pitchers, and some fabric for her to sew an outfit with.
They loaded their purchases on the yacht and then found a booth serving authentic food and it was delicious. They enjoyed grilled yogurt marinated lamb shoulder chops. They then bought a few more things that caught their eyes and then headed back to the cottage. They unloaded all the items they bought and Xander lit the grill that was by the cottage and they enjoyed some grilled fish and some grilled pineapple and some coffee. They enjoyed another intimate night as husband and wife than slept soundly.
They went swimming and snorkeling the next day and then went for a walk and collected seashells. the ordered room service for supper and then some private time together before falling asleep their days on the island were relaxing no rushed schedules just having fun and exploring, fishing, snorkeling, cooking, and on their last day there there was a bonfire on the beach along with a pig roast and classic authentic foods prepared by the staff and the locals.
They spent the day windsurfing, horseback riding on the beach, and eating. They packed up their luggage and all the souvenirs they purchased and donated the remaining food to the locals.
They loaded the yacht and headed back to the mainland to board the plane back to California. They arrived at the airport early the next morning to find a limo awaiting them. The bags were transferred over to the back of the limo and they were off. it was chore time by the time the limo pulled into the driveway and Sophie was surprised with the welcome home sign Mr and Mrs Nova that was hanging over the front door.
The limo driver unloaded the car and then left and Sophie unpacked their clothes and started 2 loads of laundry. Then she put the souvenirs where she wanted them and then they drove over to Xander's house and finished packing up his clothes, bed, and tv and his pots and pans.
Finally Xander's house was empty and the for sale sign in the front was perfect.
They drove home and placed all his clothes in the large walk in closet next to Her things. she washed his sheets and blankets and placed them in the linen closet. Then they took the 4 dogs out for a walk. They were glad to be home finally able to start their life together. His house sold a week after being put up for sale.
