I've always been close with my cousin, yeah we fight sometimes. But we also get into crazy shit together! We would always meet up in an abandoned house after school everyday since I was in 5th grade. We pinky swore we would protect each other. I would go along with his plans and him the same with mine. I guess running away was one of his plans. Like, I've been thinking of it too. My parents, or if I can even call them that, they aren't the best parents.

"Hey Zach?" I mumbled, just waking up from an uncomfortable sleep.
"Oh, morning Vin wassup?" Zach asked, not looking up from the road.
"Are we almost in there?" I asked.
"Yep, just 10 more miles"
"So how much minutes?"
"Well, probably one hour and thirty minutes"
I grumbled laid back down. I looked around the car and noticed my headphones, so I grabbed them and listened to music to pass the time. I instantly fell forward and hissed in pain.
"Zach! What the fuck?!" I deadpanned.
"S-Sorry! Just traffic" he stuttered.
'Ughhhhh, I can't wait until we get into town..'
~~~~~
We arrived at the apartment we're supposed to stay in and it was kinda a shitty deal, like I understand why it's cheap now. I grabbed my suitcase and my skateboard. Zach got out and smiled.
"The third floor, this place is nice huh?" I rolled my eyes.
"This is an actual shit show" I mumbled before walking in.
I walked up the stairs and opened the door to our new apartment. It's a two bedroom apartment, the bathroom is small and the living room and the kitchen are connected. It's not to bad for an apartment. I walked to the bedroom at the end of the hallway and opened the door. It has a big window in the wall and on the opposite side of the wall it was a small closet. I dropped my stuff in it and went to explore the apartment. The bathroom was across from my room and beside my room is beside Zach's room. I opened his door and I noticed it was a bit broken so it had a loud creek when I opened it. It was a bit bigger than mine but I didn't really care. I left the room and noticed there was Zach bringing in more stuff.
"Hey Vin? Can you go bring some boxes from the trunk?" Zach asked.
I nodded and walked down the stairs. I grabbed some boxes and start walking up the stairs. I almost tripped then someone- I mean two people help me.
"Woah! You ok?" "You almost tripped"
I looked up and there where a pair of identical twins. They both had red hair and purple striped shirts.
"Y-yeah I'm ok" I stuttered.
"I'm Aiden!" "I'm Caden" the boys introduces themselves.
"Hi, I'm Vinny" I smiled.
"Nice name!" They said in union.
"Thanks for, um, helping me" I said.
"No problem Vinny! Your new here right?" Caden asked.
"Yeah, I just got here"
"Well, we're glad we stumbled into you, or else you would have fell" Aiden joked.
I nodded and they noticed my uncomfortableness and smiled.
"We'll be on our way, I hope I see you again Vin!" Caden smiled, pulling Aiden away.
I walked into the apartment and Zach was on the phone.
"Yes I just moved here with my cousin, their name is Vinny" Zach said.
"No, not her, they. No not multiple people, just my one cousin" Zach tried to explain.
He hung up the phone and noticed me behind him.
"Oh hey, I'm just trying to get you into a school" Zach said.
I nodded and went to my room. I noticed Zach but my mattress in my room and I smiled.
"Thanks Zach!" I yelled out.
"No problamo Vin!" He yelled back.
I smiled and grabbed my clothes from my bag and put it in the closet. After a while I got settled in. I grabbed my phone and scrolled through instagram.
"Hey Vin I ordered pizza!" Zach yelled.
"Tell me when it gets here"
I went to text my girlfriend and then I saw a text that made me want to cry.
"I want to break up"
