It was 6pm in the Tucker house and craig for once was doing is homework- The nerves forced him to do anything he could to keep his mind off his birthday.
"Craig! Ruby! Dinner is ready" Laura Tucker called
"Ill be there in a minute mum" Craig called back
Craig sprinted downstairs to see spaghetti for dinner
"Pasta again" Craig rolled his eyes
"Fuck off Craig" Laura frowned
"Yeah fuck off Craig" Ruby said while shoving a mouthful of stringy pasta into her mouth
"Ruby Tucker watch your language" Their father scolded
This started a chain of middle fingers being shown across the room
"So anyways craig, what do you want to do on Wednesday?" his mother asked as she sat down at the table
"Wednesday?" Craig looked confused
"Your birthday moron" Ruby laughed
"Oh well I was just going to go see my friends" Craig said like it was obvious
"Craig it's a big day, you're growing up, you will know who your soulmate is on Wednesday" Craigs dad smiled at him
"I want to know who my daughter in law is" Craigs mum looked whimsical
"I want to know if my grandbabies will be cute" Craigs dad laughed
"Oh yes I can't wait to be an auntie" Ruby got excited
"WOAH calm down everyone going a bit fast aren't we" Craig looked a bit taken back
"Are you excited to meet her" Craigs dad asked
"What if you already have?" Craigs mum smiled
"What if its that girl with the curly blond hair" Ruby added
"Annie?" Craig asked
"Yes Annie shes a sweet girl" Craigs mum smiled
"Or that girl with the green jumper" Craigs dad added
"You mean Nelly" Craig looked astonished by the lack of concern from his parents and also that they had also just described 2 girls similar enough to Tweek to have Craig thinking about him again if they love girls with curly blond hair and green jumpers they would love Tweek that is however they love girls like that, Tweek has one draw back to them and its that he's a boy. That shouldn't matter anyways its not like Tweek is his soulmate they are simply friends. But why did Craig keep thinking about him. Guilt maybe.
"im done" Craig stood up from the table
"With dinner or with this conversation" Craigs mum asked
"Both" Craig sighed
"CRAIG WAIT!" his father shouted
"What" Craig rolled his eyes
"Its okay to be nervous, I was nervous before I met your mum but I promise you when you see her it will all be okay"
Craig felt tears well up in his eyes but he couldn't figure out why
"Craig honey are you okay" his mother asked concerned
"I think so" Craig tried to smile
"Is there a girl you want it to be and you're not sure if she's the one" His mum asked
"I don't...no.... no there is no girl" craig said whipping away his tears
"...a boy?" his mother looked concerned
"A BOY! LAURA HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND! MY SON ISNT GAY! TELL HER CRAIG" Craigs dad said getting very angry very fast
"Im not gay" he said sighing his voice breaking as he said the word 'gay'
"See I told you" Craigs dad looked victorious and continued eating
Mrs Tucker and Ruby both knew better though but decided now wasn't the time to say anything
"Im going upstairs" Craig sighed
He knew he had to do something to convince his parents he wasn't gay.
Craig- hey Annie
Annie- What do you want
Craig- wanna ditch school with me tomorrow
Annie- and why would I do that
Craig- cos you know you love me
Annie- I don't love you but fine
Craig- cool come to my house 9am tomorrow
Annie- Okay
Craig had a plan. Invite Annie over make a lot of noise attract the attention of his parents who will see him with a girl. Problem solved.
