I walked into the classroom first, as usual. I walked over to my desk in the far left corner. The I popped my computer case and incredibly full binder. It was 7:20 in the morning. It was 5 minutes until the other students filed in. The teacher, Ms. Walker, walked out of the supply closet in the music room.

"Good morning Avery!" she said to me in an overly cheery voice .

"Morning," I said back. It was the nice thing to do, but I was not really in the mood to talk right now. It was a really confusing night and I barely closed my eyes.

I looked down at my white converse with a red stripe around the sole. These shoes perfectly accompanied my out fit: a baseball style tee with skinney jeans. I loved dressing up, but not today so I threw this on. The nerds all filed in first. They are so set on being on time. I am not one to speak. I live right next to school and it's peaceful to walk around listening to music through my pink beats in the solitude of empty hallways. Plus, I listen to the Beyonce song Halo to get partially pumped to go to language arts first period.

Now everyone is pouring in the door, taking their seats-- for the most part. As soon as the last pupil sets foot in the classroom, the ding-dong comes from the loud speaker. Ms. Walker records attendance and then we go through school wide announcements.

I usually lay my head on the desk till its over, but today there was actually something interesting a puzzling. As soon as the usual schedule was gone over, the loud speaker blared,"Avery Kelp please report to the office, immediatly." Everyone turned toward me as I got up and left homeroom with my belongings. As I walked down the halls, someone jumped out from the emty space where the apparently 'unhealthy' vending machine used to stand. The strange person grabbed me by the arm and pulled toward the main doors, not the office.

They said,"We just need information on a crime you may have wittnessed."
