"Lauren, are you okay? You can sit here to sober up." He said and helped me sit on the bench.

"Leslie?"

"Yes? I'm here. What is it?"

I stared at his blurred face as tears started to swell up in my eyes.

"You love me, right?" I asked.

"I love you. Why are you asking that? You know how much I love you." He answered with worried face and cupped my face.

I couldn't look him in the eyes and I tried to remove his hands on my face but to no avail.

"Look at me. What is it? Hmm? Tell me, please."

"That means you won't leave me, right?"

He seemed shock with my question. I burst into tears when he didn't answer me immediately. I couldn't contain my tears as I remember what I heard yesterday.

"When are you going to keep this up, Leslie? You should have known better. You're just going to end up hurting Lauren because of what you're doing. Break up with her now."

"She's right, Les. You know that there's nothing you can. You're bound to marry Alexa whether you like it or not."

"We don't know what she might do when she finds out about this so please, for Lauren's sake, let her go."

He's going to leave me.

He's bound to marry someone else.

"Hey, stop crying. What is it? Please tell me." He said and hugged me tightly. I cried so hard on his arms.

"I love you. I love you, Leslie."

"I love you more, Lauren."

We hugged each other until I calmed down.

"Are you okay now?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"Wait here. I'm going to buy water at the convenience store nearby. Don't go anywhere, okay? Just stay here until I come back. I won't take long." He said and stood up. He smiled at me and kissed my forehead and headed to the convenience store. I stared at his back until I couldn't see him as it was dark on the other side of the park.

"Several minutes have passed already. He said he won't take long." I mumbled to myself and looked at my watch. I want to call him but he has my phone.

"Lauren." Someone called. I looked behind me and saw Gian.

"Oh, Gian. Why are you here?"

"Let's go home." He said with a sad face.

"I'm with Leslie. He just bought something at the convenience store, so he'll be back in a bit." I said and looked at the direction where Lauren went.

"He's not coming back."

"What are you talking about?"

"They're on their way to the airport right now. His grandmother found out about your relationship."

I looked at Gian with disbelief and couldn't say anything. Tears started to streamed down my face again. I couldn't think of anything else but Leslie.

I ran towards the direction where he went. I heard Gian call my name, but I ignored him and just ran. 'Cause maybe, just maybe I'll be able to see him for the last time.

I ran fast as I could when I saw that the stoplight was about to go red in 3 seconds. I was in the middle of the road when I heard a loud honk and Gian's voice shouting my name.

"LAUREN!"

I felt a huge impact to my body. I felt my body rolled over the road. I wanted to stand up, but my body was in excruciating pain. I saw Gian ran towards me, I wanted to reach my hand to him but I couldn't. I recalled Leslie's face and everything went black.
