I was waiting for my best friend Adam (corpse) under a tree at school, I sighed as he (like usual) took his damn time, I wanted to eat, I saw him starting to walk more to me, he soon sat next to me and we got out food out.
I could tell that something was on his mind "corpse, you good?" he didn't say anything and just nodded
After food, I saw him looking at me, I turned to him "ok, tell me what's up now" he stayed quite but started talking after a bit "uhm.. A friend of your came and talked to me..." my eyes immediately went a bit wide "oh, what about?" I saw his bit his cheek "they told me that you liked me, well, like like me.."
I immediately got up "I have to go ill talk to you later" I immediately ran off I heard corpse calling after me but ignored him and rushed to go find her, I went up to her as she stood in a little group
"Bella are you serious?!" she looked at me and just smirked "why would you do that?!" the group looked confused by what was going on "cause, why would I not?" I scoffed at her "cmon Eve, think we both knew he would never like you back" I teared up, she was right, he wouldn't love someone like me...
I ran off out of school running as fast as I can to go home, I stormed inside immediately running upstairs and locking myself in my room as I fell into my bed and sobbed Into the pillow, I heard my phone starting to go off
I saw the screen 'Bubs🖤' I sighed but didn't pick up as I sobbed, he kept calling so I now did pick up "Corpse can you please just leave me alone..." I heard him sigh "Eve, did you really go home?" I hummed as a awnser he started talking again "I'm coming over and we're gonna talk ok" I sighed and hummed again and hung up on him
I threw my head into the pillow and screamed a bit... Thing will probably start changing he'll think I'm wierd, ill ruin the friendship with just having a crush on him
After a while I hear the doorbell ring, I unlocked my door and went to go open I saw him stand there he immediately walked inside and hugged me tightly and hugged him back "I'm sorry Corpse..." I heard him chuckle softly "you can't choose who you fall for or like Eve~" I nodded softly and just stayed in his hug
"Eve?.." he said looking at me, I hummed as I lifted my head "I like you too... But I'm just not ready for a relationship" he smiled softly and so did I, I nodded "that's fine just glad to know nothing is gonna change and all" he smiled and nodded "nah, it's all good~ how about we get snacks and watch some movies to move on from that? ~" I giggled and nodded
We spent the rest of that day watching all kinds of movies, we had fun.
