Chapter 18 : Lucy and Laxus Get Married

(Lucy's POV)

The seemed to fly by like it was nothing. Everything in my life had changed and for the better expect for poor Wendy. No one knew when he would come for her and whether he would be good to her. We were all worried about the safety Wendy and if he would take her from us. Wendy showed no concern for her situation and assured us that Lablos wasn't as bad as he seemed. I had spent all week with Erza, Levy, and Wendy shopping for my wedding dress, their bridesmaid dresses, the decor, the food, and who could forget the cake. I asked Wendy to be my maid of honor since she was the reason that I was able to retain my memories. Erza, Levy, and Juvia are going to be my bridesmaids. It was hard to believe that today was the day that I was going to marry Laxus and we would be together forever. I know that it sounds corny but I couldn't be happier with how things turned out. I still remember the first kiss like it was yesterday.

We went back to training, and I managed to flip Laxus, and I was sitting on top of him, and he smirked at me. When I went to get up, he pulled me down and into a kiss. I was beyond shocked, and I pulled away before it even really began. I saw the look of shock on his face and the realization of what he has done.

"Lucy, I don't know why I have done that. I am sorry." Laxus said.

"I think that I am going to go home and get some rest, and I think that you should do the same. It might do us some good." I said.

"Yes, of course. I will be at your apartment tomorrow morning same time, and we will begin working on the spell some, but we won't use it till the day after tomorrow." Laxus said.

"Alright and will practice more training in hand to hand to combat," I said.

"Yes, of course. It is nearing at 8 pm, and I will get you up early again." He said.

I stood up and ran to my apartment. I cleaned up and threw myself on the bed. Why did he kiss me, and why did he say sorry? I thought I felt something, but I wasn't sure. I opened my journal and began writing about everything that was happening.

Dear Diary,

Today I am not sure of what to make of these events that have happened. Laxus kissed me, and then he said that he was sorry. I have always hated this man, and then he saves me on Tenrou Island, and when we wake up, he offers to train me. The next thing I know, I am feeling something for him, and I can't explain it. I can't possibly love a man who, when I first joined, wanted me to be his woman, and he would help. I think that I am just foolish about this. We will go back to normal and continue training and win the games.

I laid my journal down and went to sleep. went back to training, and I managed to flip Laxus, and I was sitting on top of him, and he smirked at me.
